What’s going on in metro Detroit this week (Oct. 22-28) - Detroit Metro Times

You guys need to get your facts straight 🙄... I'm pretty sure it's not Ralph C. Wilson Jr., but actually it's Wayne County Executive Warren Evans. Anyway, $80 million is a huge investment, hope they keep the park clean and maintain it well.

I don't know about all these festivals and events being super crowded, but if you're into that sorta thing... there's gonna be some fun stuff happening. Detroit Harvest Fest sounds like a cool way to spend the weekend with family-friendly activities. And for Halloween enthusiasts, Spooktacular in Hazel Park seems like it could be pretty lit 💀.

Just saw that Spooktacular is back in Hazel Park 🎃... sounds like a blast! Free gift bag for the first 150 attendees? 🤩 that's a pretty sweet deal. I'm thinking of checking it out, but I've been meaning to get into short films more often too. Cheapy Creepy XVII seems like a great way to discover new ones 📽️ might have to look into the short film fest. And Spooktacular has all the Halloween vibes... plus food trucks and live music? 🤤 sounds like it's gonna be a fun weekend.

can't believe we're finally getting a new park in detroit like this one's gonna be lit 🤯 been waiting for ages for something to happen in our city and now we got this centennial park thing... i'm so down for the harvest fest on saturday though, food trucks are my weakness 🍴 what's up with all these halloween festivals tho? first it's spooktacular in hazel park then cheapy creepy XVII is hosting a short film festival for halloween... just saying

I'm so stoked they're finally opening that new park 🤩! $80 million is a lot of cash and it sounds like they've thought of everything for families and kids, including some cool water features. But honestly, October feels like the best month of the year - Halloween is just around the corner and all these festivals are giving me major vibes 🎃👻. I'm definitely down to check out Spooktacular in Hazel Park on Saturday, the food trucks and live music sound amazing! And can't wait for Cheapy Creepy XVII's short film fest, that sounds like so much fun 🕷️. Detroit is really stepping up its festival game this year 💪
