I am the first Indigenous journalist to exclusively interview António Guterres. How many others will listen?

🤔 come on guys dont we get it yet climate change is real and its effecting indigenous communities the most 🌿 sadly sounds like alot of ppl are still living in denial aka they dont wanna listen to indigenous voices & instead just wanna keep on consuming without a care 🍔👎

omg I'm literally crying over here this is so frustrating we keep ignoring the cries of indigenous communities and the planet's biodiversity it's like we're all just living in our own bubble and nobody cares 🌎💔

I feel like António Guterres is trying to tell us something but like, what's with the denial? Can't we see that climate change is real and it's hurting people and animals?! 🤦‍♂️ And yeah let's prioritize truth-telling about human rights violations against indigenous communities it's time for justice!

I love how he talks about our interconnectedness with nature tho like, I've always felt this too...we're all in this together 🌿💚 but seriously what can we do? We need to take action and make some serious changes ASAP

I'm so tired of hearing politicians talk about the earth without actually doing anything about it 🙄 and yeah if we don't start listening to indigenous voices and taking care of the planet, the earth will literally take revenge 💥

omg gotta say im so done with people just mindlessly consuming the planet 🌎🚮 like they think they can just keep using & abusing without any consequences... newsflash: our planet is literally crying out for help 🐝💔 and we need to start listening to indigenous voices & the science 🤖💡 instead of ignoring it all

anyway gotta give credit to UN Sec Gen António Guterres for finally acknowledging the issue 👏 but still so much more work needs to be done 💪 & we cant just sit back & wait for someone else to fix it 🙅‍♀️ im all about taking action DIY style 💡🌿

💔 I feel like you're holding up a mirror to us all, and it's not an easy reflection to look at 😩. The pain and devastation you witnessed in the Amazon is heartbreaking, and I can only imagine how hard it must be for Indigenous communities to fight for their rights and our planet's future. It's like we're taking a giant step backward, forgetting that we're all part of this beautiful, delicate web 🌿.

I'm so tired of hearing about climate change, but honestly, what choice do we have? We need to listen to those who are fighting for us – the Indigenous communities, scientists, and anyone who's been warning us about the dangers of our actions. It's time to take responsibility for our actions and act like we care 🌟.

I love the way you put it: "reforesting our deforested thoughts" 💡 – that's exactly what we need to do. We need to start valuing the beauty, wonder, and importance of nature in our lives. The Earth isn't just a resource; it's our home 🏠.

Let's hope we can learn from each other, from Indigenous communities, and from the natural world itself 🌱.

I'm so worried about these Indigenous communities 🤕 it's like we're suffocating them with pollution and climate change ... have we not learned our lesson from nature yet? 🌿 I mean, cyanobacteria blooms in the Xingu River is just insane - what's next? Toxic water everywhere? We need to take action ASAP 💪 but at the same time, I'm glad Guterres spoke out about listening to Indigenous voices. It's about time we recognize their rights and perspectives 🗣️ I also love how he compared humanity to an organism with nature - like, if we're all connected, why do we treat each other and the planet so badly? 🤯
