11/26: The Takeout with Major Garrett

I gotta say, I'm a bit surprised by how much I ended up agreeing with Major Garrett's take on the ACA subsidies 🤔. I know some people are gonna say he's being too soft on the Republicans, but I think he makes some valid points about the need to find common ground and not just demonize one side of the aisle 💸. And can we talk about how refreshing it is to have a podcast that actually explores multiple sides of an issue instead of just taking a partisan stance? 🙏 It's not always easy, but I think The Takeout does a great job of making you think 🤯.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the recent shooting near the White House 🤯. Two National Guard members hurt, and it's got me thinking about the risks our troops face every day. I mean, we praise them for their service, but do we really know what they're going through? It's one thing to talk about it on the news, another to live with the reality of it all. And then there's this ACA subsidies mess... millions of Americans counting on these subsidies to get healthcare 🤕. It's like, can't we find a way to make healthcare more accessible for everyone? I'm glad The Takeout brought up some of these issues, and I love how they also shared personal stories from listeners who've been affected by them 💔.

.. been listening to podcasts like this since I was in college 🤯 and it's still so relevant now. These guys at Major Garrett know how to tackle the tough stuff without sugarcoating it. The ACA subsidies thing is a total mess, it's crazy that they're even debating whether or not to extend them. And with the shootings near the White House... it's just unbelievable. I mean, what's going on with our military? It's always something. I love how the podcast highlights personal stories too, it really puts a face to the issue and makes you wanna do something about it 💡
