I mean, Mount Carmel just annihilated Lincoln-Way East and Glenbard North is looking like a legit contender... but at the same time, Nazareth was like 49-7 against Lake Zurich, what's up with that?

I'm just saying, Illinois high school football is looking pretty fierce this year! All these teams are putting on some insane shows out there. I love how Glenbard North's defense stepped up and took down Batavia 20-13 - that's some major growth right there! And can we talk about the comeback by Belvidere North against Cary-Grove? 
and Tri-Valley making history with that 28-25 victory? wow what a game 
come on who thought it was a good idea to have Class 1A in the same brackets as some of these powerhouse teams?! like, can't they just make it a separate bracket or something? anyway, I'm so over all the complaining from the fans about the matchups not being fair. newsflash: if you're worried about your team's chances then you probably shouldn't have entered the playoffs in the first place 
. and btw, what's up with IHSA not having a streaming service yet? it's like they want to make people pay extra to watch their favorite teams play 
The Illinois High School Association has been doing this for decades, after all. It's just the natural progression of a team's performance. Don't get me wrong, I love some good football as much as the next guy, but let's not get too carried away here...
