After ‘Predator: Badlands,’ Will ‘Alien: Earth’ Get ‘Predator’ Crossover? Show’s Creator Weighs In

FX Series Creator Noah Hawley Weighs In On Potential 'Predator' Crossover With Alien: Earth.

The recent release of Dan Trachtenberg's Predator: Badlands marked a significant moment for the long-stale franchise, as it became the first crossover narrative between the Alien and Predator franchises in nearly 20 years. The film infused elements of both iconic franchises into one story, setting the stage for potential future crossovers.

Alien: Earth TV series creator Noah Hawley was recently asked on the SmartLess podcast if he would consider bringing Predator characters to his show's universe. Hawley responded by stating that it is not part of his plan to do so.

"I think Dan Trachtenberg, who made Prey and has made the Badlands movie — you know, I loved Prey,” said Hawley. “I think he’s doing a great job with that franchise. He clearly has a plan there. I’ve met Dan once; we’re not kind of coordinating any of that stuff. So, it’s not really my plan to do it.”

While Hawley ruled out the possibility of integrating Predator characters into Alien: Earth, it remains unclear whether this decision will impact future storylines or plot developments in the FX series.

Production on Alien: Earth is set to begin in London in 2026 after shooting the series in Thailand for Season 1. The show concluded its first season with its eighth episode on September 23, and a second season was recently announced by FX.

🤔 I think it's kinda weird that Noah Hawley would shut down the idea of Predator crossovers with Alien: Earth so quickly... I mean, who wouldn't want to see the likes of Xenomorphs vs Yautja in a battle royale? 🦖💥 But at the same time, if he's not feeling it, then maybe we should just let him focus on creating an epic Alien storylines without any extraterrestrial interruptions... unless, of course, Dan Trachtenberg somehow manages to sneak them into Prey 2 🤪. The uncertainty around this whole thing is kinda thrilling, though! Can't wait to see how the FX series evolves! 🔮

I'm kinda surprised that Noah Hawley isn't down for a Predator crossover with Alien: Earth 🤔. I mean, the Alien and Predator franchises have such rich histories, it's like they were made for each other! But at the same time, I trust Hawley's vision for his show, and if he says it's not part of his plan, then I'm cool with that 🙏.

I do hope that future storylines don't get stuck in a rut though 😐. The idea of integrating Predator characters into Alien: Earth is just so exciting! Just imagine the action sequences and the blending of those two iconic worlds... it gives me major goosebumps 🦅!

But hey, we'll have to wait and see what Hawley has planned for Season 2 📺. Either way, I'm here for some mind-blowing sci-fi goodness 💥!

I'm low-key disappointed about this crossover thingy 🤔😐. I mean, Alien vs Predator has been done before, but still, it's always cool to see those iconic franchises collide 💥. As for Noah Hawley saying it's not part of his plan, that's fair, I guess 👎. I loved Prey too! But can you imagine what a Predalien would look like? 🤖👽 That'd be some wild stuff right there 😂.

Speaking of which, did you know that the Alien franchise has grossed over $2.8 billion worldwide since its release in 1979? 💸 That's insane! And with Predator: Badlands doing so well, it's no surprise they're considering more crossovers 🤑.

Here's a fun fact for ya: The Predator's iconic headhunter design was inspired by ancient Mesoamerican and African masks 🔍. Mind blown, right? 😲

But seriously, I'm curious to see how Alien: Earth will unfold without any Predator characters 📺. Will they introduce new alien species or explore more of the show's sci-fi aspects 🚀? The suspense is killing me! 🤯

I'm kinda stoked about this whole crossover thing, you know? It's like, two of my favorite franchises coming together to create something new and awesome! 🚀 But at the same time, I feel like Hawley is keeping his options open, you know? He loves Trachtenberg's work on Prey and Badlands, but that doesn't mean he's closed off to exploring other ideas.

I think it's interesting that Hawley's show didn't get a nod from him about integrating Predator characters. Maybe it's just not part of the plan, or maybe he wants to focus on his own storylines first? Either way, I'm excited to see where Alien: Earth goes and if we'll ever get to see some Predator-Alien crossovers. Who knows? Maybe in a few years we'll be talking about how awesome it is that Hawley finally jumped on board 🤔

idk why noah hawley wouldnt wanna collab w/ dan trachtenberg 🤔 like both shows are about sci-fi & action, so it'd be dope to see predator characters in alien: earth. maybe they could bring in some x-enomorphs to battle the yautja 👽💀 it's def a possibility that if he changes his mind, we'll see some alien-predator crossovers in the future 🤞

you know what's wild 🤯... I just saw this crazy documentary about the history of video games and how they inspired some of the most iconic sci-fi movies out there. like, who knew that old-school RPGs were basically the precursor to the whole Alien vs Predator thing? anyway, back to FX series... I'm still curious about Alien: Earth's storyline 🚀👽. have you guys been following it? what do you think about a possible crossover with Predator? I personally love how Noah Hawley is keeping his show separate from the franchise, but at the same time... wouldn't it be awesome to see some intergalactic action go down? 💥

idk why noah hawley gotta shut down the idea of predator aliens colliding 🤔😒 they had that potential to be lowkey lit. just imagine the whole xenomorph-predator struggle... but i guess it's not on his plate for now. still hyped for alien: earth tho, can't wait to see what kind of crazy stuff noah hawley comes up with 📺👽
