America's super-rich are running down the planet's safe climate spaces, says Oxfam

can we even process how unfair this world is? I mean, 308 billionaires contributing to like half the global emissions and they get to live like kings 🤯 while the rest of us are fighting for our lives over 82g of CO2 daily 💔 its like someone took a whole rhino or an entire SUV and just... swallowed it whole 🐏

and the worst part is, we're already drowning in climate debt 😭 from years of negligence and greed. 1.3 million heat-related deaths by 2100? $44 trillion in damages? that's just crazy 💸 its like they're trying to take everything away from us and leave us with nothing but a toxic wasteland 🌪️

we need to hold these billionaires accountable for their actions, like seriously, how can one person be so reckless and selfish with the entire planet? 🤷‍♂️ tax them, ban lobbying efforts, let's make sure they know that climate change isn't just some theoretical thing for them to worry about, it's a real-life crisis that affects people on the ground 💥

"Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it." 🌎💔 The wealth gap is growing, and it's crippling the planet. It's time to hold those with the most power accountable. We need systemic change, not just lip service to sustainability. 💪

OMG, it's literally mind-blowing to think about how much more carbon emissions the rich folks are spewing compared to the poor! 🤯 I mean, 82g of CO2 per day is basically nothing, but those billionaires are belching out like, 2.2 tonnes daily?! That's crazy 😱! And it's not just that, but their combined emissions would be like, 15th largest polluter globally if they were a country 🌎.

I'm so frustrated thinking about how this chasm between the haves and have-nots is growing exponentially 💸. The share of global emissions attributed to the richest 0.1% has jumped by 32%, while that of the poorest 50% has plummeted by just 3%. It's like, what even is fair? 🤔

We need to hold those super-rich individuals accountable for their actions and curtail their influence over climate policy 💪. Taxing extreme wealth, banning polluting lobbying efforts, and giving those most vulnerable to climate change a seat at the negotiating table are some steps in the right direction 👍.

It's not just an inequality crisis, but also a climate crisis 🌡️. We need to make changes ASAP or we'll see devastating consequences like 1.3 million heat-related deaths by the end of the century and $44 trillion in economic damage 😱.
