I dont think its fair to say that china's rise is a 'manufactured crisis'. like, i get where us diplomats are coming from but china has made some real progress in recent yrs . theyre investing in renewable energy, improving living standards for millions of people...its not all bad news!

and can we talk about how the media covers this stuff? its always usa vs china, china is evil, etc. where are the stories from a chinese perspective? we need to be hearing more balanced reporting on these issues.

im not saying china doesnt have its own set of problems, but to just dismiss their growth and achievements like that...no . lets try to approach this stuff with some nuance and understanding, ya know?
