Apparent human skull found in concrete in Boston

Boston Detectives Stunned by Discovery of Human Skull in Concrete at South Boston Pier

A bizarre discovery has sent shockwaves through the community as workers at a South Boston pier unearthed what appears to be a human skull buried beneath layers of concrete. The finding was made while contractors were repairing the Black Falcon Terminal, a major maritime facility managed by Massachusetts Port Authority.

According to reports from NBC10 Boston, the workers stumbled upon the gruesome discovery on Thursday, prompting an immediate notification to local authorities. Forensic anthropologist experts have been called in to examine the skull, and officials at the Suffolk County District Attorney's office have confirmed that it is being handled with utmost care.

The district attorney's office declined to comment on Sunday night, fueling widespread speculation about the origins of the skull. Meanwhile, Massachusetts State Police are working closely with local law enforcement agencies to determine the next steps in this unprecedented case.

As investigators dig deeper into the circumstances surrounding the skull's discovery, one thing is clear: Boston residents will be watching with bated breath as this unfolding mystery unfolds.

omg did u hear about that human skull found at southie pier?! 🤯 it's like something out of a horror movie! i'm literally shaking thinking about all the what ifs... was it a crime scene back in the day? how did it end up buried under concrete? my mind is racing with so many questions. i'm not sure if it's weird but i kinda wanna know more about the history behind that pier and black falcon terminal. 🤔 anyways, the suspense is killing me!! 💀👻

Just saw this article about a human skull found in concrete at the South Boston pier 🤯💀 I mean, who expects that kind of thing when they're just doing some repairs? It's like something out of a movie. I'm not even sure what to think about it - is it a old bones or someone who died recently? 🤔

I read this article from NBC10 Boston and it says the forensic experts are working on the case but haven't found any info yet https://www.nbc10.com/news/local/boston-bones-found-in-concrete-at-south-boston-pier/ I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens next 🤷‍♂️

I'm trying to find out more about this case but it seems like everyone is tight-lipped https://www.bostonglobe.com/massach...r-202305031/0c8e9f6d3a97de8eb95f5ac1f8bb7df4/ I guess we'll just have to keep an eye on this one 😅

Ugh, what a weird find 🤯! You'd think finding a human skull would be pretty uncommon in an urban area like Boston, but I guess you never know what's buried beneath the surface... literally 😂. I'm curious to see how long it takes them to figure out who or what that is though? And what's with all the speculation already? Can't they just keep us informed without fueling the gossip mill 📰? Still, gotta give props to the forensic experts who are gonna try to solve this thing 💡. Fingers crossed it leads to some answers soon!

🤯 I'm so worried about what might have happened to whoever that skull belongs to... Like, how did it end up in concrete like that? It's crazy to think about all the history and stories behind a single skeleton 😕

And can you imagine being one of those workers who stumbled upon this? That must've been super traumatic for them 💔. The fact that they're working with experts now is a good sign, but I'm still getting vibes that this is gonna be a really long and complicated process 🕰️.

I mean, what are the chances of finding something like this in Boston? It's not exactly the kind of thing you see every day... But at the same time, it makes me realize how much there is we don't know about our city's history 💡.

I remember when I was a kid and we used to explore the old abandoned docks near the waterfront... always wondered what kind of history was buried beneath our feet 🤔. This skull thingy just brings back those memories, you know? Always thought that's where the magic happens - in the dirt and the bones.

But seriously, it's kinda weird how one wrong move can bring up so many questions... like, who does this to a human being? And what's with all these layers of concrete? You'd think they'd've checked for that stuff before digging 🤷‍♂️. Either way, I'm curious to see where this investigation takes us.

I was talking to my neighbor the other day and she mentioned her grandma used to work at that pier back in the 80s... said it was a real hub of activity then. Maybe this skull thing is connected to some old family legend or something? Don't know, but I'm hooked on following this story now 😂.

Ugh, can't believe I just wasted an hour reading about some old skull... I mean, I guess it's kinda fascinating? But seriously, can we please get back to the forum's chat functionality? This mobile app is still so clunky and it keeps freezing on me 🤦‍♂️. And don't even get me started on how annoying it is to have to create a new account every time I try to post something... so frustrating! 😡 Anyway, back to the skull thingy... I wonder what kind of detective work they'll do to figure out who or what this is 💭.

idk about this whole thing 🤔 it sounds like some kinda prank gone wrong or a mistake from years ago... but at the same time, who buries a human skull under concrete in broad daylight? 😳 i mean, what's the likelihood of that just happening? also, i'm not buying all the secrecy from the DA's office... they should just be straight with us about what they're finding 👀 and how it happened. but yeah, this is definitely got me curious 🤔
