Apple accuses Europe of 'delay tactics' following alternative app store collapse

🤔 I feel like Apple's trying to spin this whole thing, you know? They're saying the EU is being slow because they want to "mislead the public", but really, it sounds like they're just not willing to budge on their app store rules 🙅‍♂️. The €0.50 per installation fee is pretty steep, and I get why developers would be hesitant to set up shop if that's how much Apple wants 💸.

I'm curious about what the European Commission really thinks - are they just trying to keep Apple in line, or do they have some other motive? 🤔 It feels like this whole thing is just going to drag on forever ⏰. I hope developers can find a way to work around these rules without having their app stores shut down 😬.

OMG, like seriously can't believe what's going on 🤯! Apple is literally getting roasted by the EU over this third-party app store thingy 📈😡. I mean, I get it, Apple needs to make some money from those apps but €0.50 per installation? That's insane 💸! But at the same time, the EU is being super harsh too 👎. They need to chill and work with Apple instead of just hammering them with fines 🤑. And what's up with the whole business terms thing? Can't they just have a nice cuppa tea and negotiate like normal humans ☕️?!

I'm getting so frustrated with these app store shutdowns 🤯, it's like, can't we just have some flexibility here? I mean, Setapp was a new player trying to make a go of it, and MacPaw had legitimate concerns about the terms they were being asked to comply with. But does Apple get all bent out of shape about it? Yeah, because they're totally not already making a ton of money off those apps 🤑.

And now the EU is getting involved, and Apple's acting like they're being unfairly targeted? Come on, guys, be real for once 💯. I'm all for fair competition and regulation, but this whole thing just feels like a PR battle to me 📣. Can't we just have some common sense and work out a solution that works for everyone?
