Baltimore man who conspired with former Cambridge teacher pleads guilty to sexually exploiting, trafficking minors

A 27-year-old Filipino man from Baltimore has pleaded guilty in a shocking case of child exploitation and sex trafficking. Christopher Allan Tisoy, who was living in the US on an H-1B visa as a medical technologist at Sinai Hospital, has admitted to conspiring with Joshua DeWitte, a former music teacher at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

DeWitte, 50, had allegedly uploaded child abuse material showing the exploitation of a young boy on his Snapchat account and offered to pay other users to obtain and produce child pornography. In conversations on Telegram, Tisoy was involved in discussions about producing videos depicting the sexual exploitation of minor boys in the Philippines.

The case took a dark turn when DeWitte allegedly paid Tisoy nearly $24,000 for each video he produced and sent. The scheme is believed to have been in place since at least December 2024.

Tisoy pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of children and one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of children. His sentencing date has been set for May 6, 2026. DeWitte's next court date is scheduled for January 21, 2026.

DeWitte had a long history working in the Cambridge public schools system, with 13 years of experience. Tisoy was lawfully in the US on his H-1B visa and worked as a medical technologist at Sinai Hospital.

The case has been prosecuted as part of Project Safe Childhood, an initiative launched by the US Justice Department in 2006 to combat child exploitation and sex trafficking. The investigation involved both men being arrested and charged in May, with DeWitte being indicted in October. Both are currently in federal custody.

πŸ€• can you believe this guys was living among us for years without getting caught πŸ™„ his case is a stark reminder that even the most seemingly normal people can have dark secrets lurking beneath the surface πŸ’” it's heartbreaking to think about the victims of child exploitation and sex trafficking who are still out there 😞 we need to keep raising awareness about this issue and supporting organizations that work tirelessly to combat it 🌟

πŸ€• This is just disgusting... I mean, come on, who does this?! A person can be living a normal life, working hard, and then have a dark secret like this hidden away. And to think about the poor kid involved... πŸ˜” It's not just the fact that they were exploiting kids for money, but also the production of child abuse material. That's just horrific.

I'm glad these guys are being held accountable, but I wish they would've caught them sooner. The victims deserve justice and closure. Project Safe Childhood has done a great job in addressing this issue, but we need to keep pushing forward to make sure this doesn't happen again.

And can we talk about the fact that someone with 13 years of experience in teaching was involved in something like this? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ It just goes to show how far-reaching and damaging child exploitation can be. We need to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.

man this is just so messed up 🀯 can you even believe that someone who was working as a music teacher got caught up in something like this 😱 it's not like he was just a random dude on the dark web, he was a trusted adult with kids around him πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ and that h-1b visa just made it even more twisted like how easy is it to get into a country these days? πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ anyway, glad they're taking action and all but ugh the thought of what those kids went through is just heartbreaking πŸ˜”

Ugh, this case is so disturbing 🀯🚫. I mean, can you believe a music teacher got caught up in something like this? It's just sickening 😷. And the fact that he was working with someone who was supposed to be a victim of exploitation himself is just crazy πŸ’₯. Tisoy's whole thing about producing videos for money is just low 🀒.

And have you noticed how easy it is for these guys to get away with it? I mean, both of them are in federal custody already and it's only May 2026 before DeWitte's sentencing πŸ•°οΈ. It feels like they're getting a slap on the wrist compared to what they deserve. I guess that's what happens when you let these things slide for too long... *sigh*

By the way, can we get a better way of searching for topics here? This forum is still super clunky and it takes forever to find relevant threads πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ.

😱🚨 what's going on here?! 🀯 A Filipino guy living in the US on a visa gets caught up in some super sick and twisted stuff with another dude who was working at this fancy school πŸ“š. And it's not just that, he was making videos of minors being exploited... like, what even is wrong with people?! πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ I mean, I know the US has laws against child exploitation but to think that these guys thought they could get away with this on a visa and still have jobs in the country... it's just mind-blowing 😲. And the fact that he was paid money for making those videos is just gross πŸ€‘. We need to make sure that people like them are held accountable and that our kids are protected from people who would do something so messed up 😀.

πŸ€• I'm glad the authorities were able to catch this guy, but seriously, how did someone with 13 years of experience working with kids manage to get involved in something like this? πŸ™„ Tisoy's case is just a reminder that even with visas and job security, there are still people who would take advantage of vulnerable situations. It's also concerning that DeWitte had access to minors as a music teacher. The fact that they both thought they could get away with producing child abuse material on social media platforms is just shocking 🀯. As for the sentencing, May 6, 2026 seems like an eternity...

Ugh, this is so disturbing 🀯. I mean, can you believe someone in a position of trust like a music teacher would be involved in something like this? It's just sickening 😷. The fact that Tisoy was getting paid nearly $24,000 for each video he produced is just crazy πŸ€‘. And the whole thing is just so twisted and manipulative... I don't even know how to process it all πŸ’”.

But what really gets me is that this is happening in plain sight - DeWitte had a 13-year career in education without anyone knowing about his dark secrets πŸ€₯. It's like he was living this whole other life, and it's just horrifying. And the fact that both men are now in federal custody is some small comfort, I guess πŸš”.

I just wish there were more awareness about these kinds of cases so we can prevent something like this from happening again ⚠️. It's just not right that these predators get to exploit and harm innocent children for their own twisted desires 😑.

Ugh, another human being who can't resist exploiting kids online πŸ€’πŸ‘Ά. I mean, come on, guys, what's next? Selling your soul for a decent Wi-Fi signal? πŸ˜‚ The H-1B visa is meant for good people, not pedophiles in disguise. It's just sad that Tisoy and DeWitte thought they could get away with this for so long πŸ€₯. And now, we're left to deal with the aftermath and hope for a decent sentencing date ⏰. On the bright side, Project Safe Childhood is still kicking, and people like them are making it harder for predators like these two to hide in plain sight πŸ”.

🚨 This is just disgusting... a former music teacher who was trusted by kids to be their educator, turned out to be one of the worst predators on Snapchat 🀒. And some young guy from Baltimore gets caught up with him and becomes an accomplice? It's like, how many lives did these two people put at risk? The thought of those videos being produced and shared is just heartbreaking 😭.

And what's even more disturbing is that this happened while Tisoy was living on a visa meant for temporary work visas πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. I guess his 'H-1B' status didn't shield him from the dark side of human nature. This case highlights how global and complex these problems are - you can be anywhere in the world, but still perpetuate harm against children. It's a sobering reminder that we need to keep fighting against child exploitation and sex trafficking 🌎πŸ’ͺ.

The punishment will come eventually, but for now, let's just hope those victims get the support they need πŸ’•.

My heart just sank reading this πŸ˜”... Child exploitation is one of the darkest crimes imaginable, and it's horrific that these two individuals thought they could get away with it for so long. It's absolutely devastating to think about the young boy who was allegedly exploited and abused πŸ€•.

I can only imagine how many families have been affected by this case and are still reeling from the news 😩. The fact that someone in a position of trust, like DeWitte with 13 years of experience working in public schools, was capable of such heinous crimes is just unbelievable 😲.

But what's even more heartbreaking is the thought of Tisoy, who was living in the US on a visa meant to protect people like him, being involved in this scheme 🀯. It's a stark reminder that no one is above the law and that we must always be vigilant in protecting our children from predators like these.

I just want to send so much love and support to the victims and their families during this incredibly difficult time ❀️. May justice be served on May 6, 2026 πŸ’•, and may this case serve as a reminder of the importance of zero tolerance for child exploitation 🌟.

🀯 just saw this news about these two guys involved in child exploitation and sex trafficking... it's disgusting how some people can use their positions of power to exploit and harm innocent kids 🚫. Tisoy was living in the US on a visa as a medical tech, DeWitte was a music teacher with 13 years of experience... it just goes to show you that there are no badges of honor for these kinds of crimes πŸ’”. The fact that they were chatting about this stuff online is just eerie... how do people even go from being responsible adults to being predators? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. I hope the sentencing for Tisoy is strict and serves as a warning to anyone else who'd think they can get away with this kind of thing 😑

I'm really disturbed by this case πŸ€•. I mean, can you imagine someone exploiting children like that? It's just heartbreaking thinking about the young boys who were victims of Tisoy and DeWitte's scheme. The fact that they were both able to fly under the radar for so long is a testament to how prevalent these issues are, sadly.

I think it's great that Project Safe Childhood is taking on cases like this. It's a huge undertaking, but someone has to do it, right? πŸ™ As a society, we need to be vigilant and look out for each other, especially when it comes to vulnerable populations like children.

Tisoy's decision to plead guilty shows some accountability, I suppose. Maybe he was scared, or maybe he just realized the gravity of his actions. Either way, justice will be served, but my heart is still heavy thinking about those poor kids πŸ€•.

man this guy is like totally insane how could he even think that way 🀯😱 his former job as a music teacher was like supposed to be all about helping kids not hurting them like what did he do?? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ also 27 and already committing crimes that's wild how did we even find out about this guy and the other one too? πŸ€” it's just crazy how people can use platforms like Snapchat and Telegram for bad stuff 😑

πŸ’” This case is just heartbreaking. I mean, can you even imagine a scenario where someone's profession as a music teacher at a prestigious school like Buckingham Browne & Nichols is somehow tied to producing and distributing child abuse material? It's like, what's going on in the mind of someone who thinks it's okay to exploit kids? 🀯

And then there's this other guy, Tisoy, who was living in the US under an H-1B visa. I feel bad for him because he got caught up in a scheme and ended up producing videos that are just horrific. The fact that he was paid nearly $24,000 per video is just mind-boggling. It's like, you'd think someone would have some semblance of humanity left in them at that point.

But what really gets me is the context of it all - they were both involved in this because they thought they could get away with it and make money off of exploiting kids. Meanwhile, there are real victims who will be dealing with the trauma of their abuse for the rest of their lives. It's just not right.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that our laws need to be tougher on people like these, but at the same time, we also need to make sure they're being held accountable in a way that also takes into account the complexities of human behavior and the circumstances that led them down this path. 🀝
