San Jose is set to get a taste of the gourmet toast and juice bar scene this weekend with the opening of Toastique's first location in downtown. Founded by entrepreneur Brianna Keefe back in 2018, Toastique has since grown from a single location in Washington D.C. to dozens across 18 states and the nation's capital.
The brainchild behind Toastique is an innovative approach to toast-making. By topping rustic bread with ingredients such as marinated tomatoes, watermelon radish slices, avocado, and microgreens, Keefe's recipe has captured the hearts (and stomachs) of customers nationwide. Signature creations include the Avocado Smash and Smoked Salmon toasts.
What sets Toastique apart is its commitment to in-house preparation. From hummus and guacamole to aiolis and pesto, every item on the menu is carefully crafted by the team. And it's not just about toast β the bar also offers a range of smoothies, fruit-granola bowls, cold-pressed juices, and wellness shots.
To celebrate its grand opening, Toastique will be offering several special deals for customers who visit early. The first 100 guests in line on Saturday, January 31st will receive $50 in rewards dollars to use on future visits. Throughout the week leading up to the grand opening, Toastique will also be hosting giveaways β including a free drip coffee with any purchase on Sunday, February 1st.
When it opens for regular business later this month, customers can expect a daily schedule of 7am-5pm at the downtown San Jose location.
