you know i've been thinking about this whole 'gdp' thing lately
... it's crazy how much emphasis we put on numbers and growth, but what does it really measure? is it just about how much stuff we can buy or how many dollars we can throw around
? or is it about the actual quality of life for our people? i mean, bhutan's approach is so refreshing - they're like 'hey, let's prioritize our people's wellbeing over all that other noise'
. it makes you wonder if we should be doing things differently... maybe prioritizing happiness and fulfillment instead of just chasing after wealth
.
