Bukayo Saka agrees new five-year Arsenal contract with big wage increase

Bukayo Saka is set to become one of the most expensive players in Arsenal's history, as he has agreed a lucrative five-year contract extension. The England forward, who was previously worth around £200,000 per week, will now take home an estimated £300,000 weekly income, making him one of the elite earners in Europe.

The 24-year-old Saka, who joined Arsenal from Hale End academy as a seven-year-old, has been instrumental in the team's recent success, including their six-point lead at the top of the Premier League. His representatives have secured a deal that will keep him at the club until 2032, when he'll be approaching his 30th birthday.

Saka's new contract is a significant coup for Arsenal's sporting director Andrea Berta, who prioritized securing the future of key players in recent months. The team has already tied down several other young players to long-term deals, and Saka's agreement will likely take his earnings beyond £15m per season.

The deal is seen as a major investment in one of England's most promising young talents, with Arsenal hoping to secure his long-term commitment after expressing enthusiasm for the player's role within the club. Manager Mikel Arteta had previously stated that he would love Saka to commit his future to the team, and it appears that the deal will provide him with a platform to continue growing as a player.

However, not all of Arsenal's attention is focused on Saka at present. The team are also keen to reward Declan Rice with an improved deal, following the midfielder's increasing influence on the pitch. Meanwhile, interest in signing Marc Guéhi from Crystal Palace has grown, but it remains unclear whether Arsenal will be able to secure a deal for the defender this month.

As Arsenal continue to build their squad, several key players are set to undergo medicals or scans as they look to overcome injuries and get back to full fitness.

you know when u r good at something, people always want u 2 stay in one place & keep doin the same thing? that's what happened with Bukayo Saka, he's been makin progress since he was a young boy & now hes becomin a key player 4 Arsenal... but it's also a bit scary, I mean, he's gonna b under so much pressure 2 perform, especially when u r gettin paid that much! 🤑💸 but at the end of the day, it's all about makin u happy & fulfillin ur potential, & if Bukayo Saka wants 2 be @ Arsenal 4 the next 5 yrs, who can argue w/ him? 💪

I'm glad to see Bukayo Saka gettin' rewarded for his hard work, but 300k a week is insane! I mean, I get it, he's a top player and all that, but it feels like Arsenal is just tryin' to keep him happy with big bucks rather than focusin' on buildin' the rest of the team around him 🤑. I know he's been key to their success this season, but what about the other players who've been workin' hard behind the scenes? Don't they deserve a decent paycheck too?! 💸 Anyway, can't wait to see how it all plays out and if they can get Declan Rice sorted out soon! 🤞

🤯 just think about it, £300k a week is insane! 😱 saka's gonna be one of the highest paid players in europe, no doubt he'll continue to do great things for arsenal 🚀 but 15m a season? that's crazy talk 💸 meanwhile, declan rice deserves an upgrade too 🤝 and marc guéhi's future is anyone's guess 🤔 this is getting interesting 👀

OMG I'm so hyped about Bukayo Saka getting his new contract extension!!! Like he's literally been with the academy since he was 7 and now he's gonna be one of the highest earners in Europe 🤩💸. I think it's awesome that Arsenal is investing in their young players, Declan Rice too! They deserve to get rewarded for all their hard work on the pitch 💪. Now I'm hoping they can secure a deal for Marc Guéhi ASAP, he seems like an amazing defender 😃. Can't wait to see Saka grow as a player and lead Arsenal to even more success 🏆💫!

I don't think £300k per week is too much for someone who's been with the club since he was a kid like Bukayo Saka 🤑. I mean, fair play to him for getting the deal he wants, but does it really make sense for Arsenal to be throwing that kind of money around? They've got other young players who are probably eyeing up their own long-term deals and might feel left out if they don't get similar contracts 😕. Plus, I'm not convinced Saka's worth that much more than what he was earning before - is it really worth £100k a week more just because of his age? 🤔

I don't usually comment but I think £300k per week is crazy 💸... I mean, I'm happy for Bukayo Saka, he's an amazing player and all that, but it feels like Arsenal are throwing a bunch of money at him right now 🤑. Five years, that's a long time, what if something happens to him? What if another team comes calling with even more cash? 🤔 I just don't know how the club will be able to recoup some of that money when he eventually leaves.

And £15m per season is insane for an individual player 🤑... it's like they're setting a precedent for all these young players coming up through the ranks. Don't get me wrong, Bukayo deserves his pay rise, but it feels like Arsenal are creating this expectation that everyone will be on that kind of money after a few years with the club.

Anyway, I'm not trying to be negative here, I just think it's an interesting move and I'd love to see how it all plays out 💡

I'm loving how Saka is taking his game to the next level 💸🔥 but £300k a week is crazy! I mean, I get it's a testament to his skills but what about the team's wage cap? Doesn't that come into play when he's getting paid more than some of the top players in Europe? 🤔

And speaking of wages, Declan Rice is due for an upgrade 🤑. His influence on the pitch has been huge and I'm sure Mikel Arteta wants to keep him happy. But will they be able to get it done without breaking the bank? 💸💰

I'm also keeping an eye out for Marc Guéhi 👀. He's a solid defender but can Arsenal really afford to spend big on someone who might not be as in-demand as Saka or Rice? 🤷‍♂️ Only time will tell!

man I'm loving how Bukayo Saka's contract extension is gonna make him one of the highest-paid players in Europe 🤑 but at the same time its kinda crazy that hes only 24 and already raking in £300k a week 💸 like what would he've done with all those extra quid? was he just gonna splurge on a sick gaming PC or somethin' 😂

omg its like wot can u do with buks?? he's gone from bein a young academy kid 2 one of the highest paid players in europe lol 💸🔥 now hes approachin 30 but i think its worth it 4 the club Arsenal is gonna b so lucky 2 have him on their team 🙌🏻👏

Wow 💸🔥 Saka's new contract is insane! £300k per week is crazy, I mean who wouldn't want that kind of money? It's no wonder he's signing a 5-year deal, he'll be set for life by the time he's 30. Interesting 👀 how this deal will affect his gameplay and if he'll get even better with all that extra cash... maybe more focus on training 🏋️‍♂️💪

Ugh, great, just what we need more reasons for my wages to skyrocket 🤣. I mean, £300k/week is insane! Can't blame Bukayo Saka for taking advantage of his value though, he's been killing it on the pitch and deserves it 💸. Still, feels like Arsenal is just throwing money at problems, what's with all these contract extensions? Shouldn't they be investing in youth development or something instead of overpaying for established players 🤷‍♀️?

🤔 I'm loving how Saka's earning potential is on another level 💸 Like, who wouldn't want to play for a team that can offer you that kind of money? It's crazy thinking about him making £300k a week by the time he's 30 🤑 That's some serious future-proofing going on here. I'm curious to see how it affects his game though - does all that extra cash make players even hungrier for trophies or what?

I'm not sure if £300k a week is too much for Bukayo Saka though 🤔. I mean, the guy's a genius on the pitch, no doubt about it. But five years is a long time, and that kind of money could be really tough for him to handle in the future. Still, I guess you've gotta pay your stars to stay ahead of the game, right? 💸 It'll be interesting to see how he handles the pressure now that he's getting that kind of cash 💪.

I'm so stoked for Bukayo Saka 🤩! He's been killing it on the pitch with Arsenal and now he gets a sweet new contract that'll make him one of the highest-paid players in Europe. That's amazing, right? It's like all his hard work is paying off and he's getting rewarded for it. I'm curious to see how this will affect the team's performance next season though. Will they be able to keep up the pressure at the top of the Premier League with Saka leading the charge? And what about Declan Rice, is that improved deal going to happen? I hope so, he's a key player too! 🤔

Man, can you believe Bukayo Saka is making £300k per week now? 🤑 That's insane! I mean, I'm all for rewarding talented players, but this feels like a bit too much. He's still only 24, dude! 😅 What's the next thing, him signing a lifetime contract and getting a team of personal trainers to run around with him on the pitch? 😂

But seriously, it's great to see Arsenal investing in their young talent. Saka's been incredible for the team, and it's awesome that they're locking him down long-term. He's definitely one of the brightest young stars in English football right now.

Still, I wonder if this new deal will change the dynamic of the squad at all. Are other players going to start demanding similar contracts? 🤔 And what about Declan Rice and Marc Guéhi – are they going to get snubbed for a share of the Saka cash? 🤑👀

omg u guys cant even imagine how much money buks r gonna make now 🤑💸 like 300k a week is insane! its no wonder arteta wanted him 2 commit 2 the club 4eva, cuz saka's been doing some serious damage on the pitch & it shows he's worth every penny 💯. also, i'm lowkey surprised they secured him 2 such a long deal, 2032 is like, ages away from now, but u can't put a price on talent 💪. i feel 4 him though, he deserves all the $$ in the world after all his hard work & dedication 🙌
