CEOs are tired of being held responsible for gun regulation | CNN Business

so i'm wondering why americas CEOs are feeling so deflated about not being able to push for meaningful legislation on gun control? like isn't their whole point as companies to make a positive impact on society? 🤔💡 they've been super vocal about it too, and have even banded together with other big companies to demand change. but apparently no one is listening? 😕

i think the thing that's really going on here is that americans are super polarized on gun control, and its hard for anyone to get anything done when people are just not willing to listen to each other's perspectives. it feels like the CEOs are trying to do the right thing, but they're not getting the support they need from lawmakers or the general public.

i also wonder if this is a symptom of something bigger - like how americans are starting to feel like corporations have all the power and that's causing a lot of frustration among people. 🤷‍♂️ it feels like we're at a point where its not just about gun control anymore, but about who has the influence in our society.

anyway, i think this is a super complex issue and there isn't one easy answer. but i do know that americas CEOs are trying their best to make a difference, and that's something to be admired 🙏

I think its really sad that america's CEOs are feeling deflated 🤕 about not being able to push for meaningful legislation on gun control 🗣️. i mean, its great that they've been vocal advocates for years and have used their influence to try and make a difference 💪. but at the end of the day, its gotta be a team effort 💯, right? like sonnenfeld said, social capital is as valuable as financial capital 🤝. ceos can't just do it on their own they need civil society and lawmakers to join in 🌟. lets keep pushing for change and hope that eventually everyone will be listening 👂🏼
