Champions Cup: Glasgow beat Saracens to set up Bulls last-16 tie

Glasgow Warriors have completed a perfect group stage in the Champions Cup, beating Saracens 28-21 to set up a home last-16 tie against Bulls. The win has propelled Franco Smith's side to four wins from four and 20 points, ensuring they secure top seeding.

A dominant first half saw Glasgow build a 21-3 lead, with tries from Ollie Smith, Kyle Steyn and George Horne. Saracens enjoyed greater territory in the second half but were unable to breach Glasgow's robust defence, despite Elliot Daly coming close to scoring.

The bonus point was eventually secured in the final play by Seb Stephen, who finished off a powerful maul after being brought on as a replacement for the injured Zander Fagerson. This win has given Warriors home advantage in their last-16 tie against Bulls and solidified their position as serious contenders for this year's Champions Cup.

With Glasgow now set to host Bulls at Scotstoun, Smith will be looking to maintain his team's fine form and add another scalp to their trophy aspirations.

OMG, can't believe how on fire the Warriors are right now! 🚀 4 wins from 4 is insane, and that top seeding is gonna give 'em a major leg up in the competition. But gotta say, Saracens were way tougher than I expected in the second half - those guys are no joke 💪. Still, Glasgow's defense was impenetrable and they made it look easy at times 😎. And Seb Stephen's bonus point try? Game-changer! The home crowd is gonna be PUMPED for this last-16 tie against the Bulls 🤩, and I think the Warriors are definitely in with a serious shot at making some noise in this tournament 💥.

I'm loving how the Warriors are killing it in the Champions Cup! Their defense is on point 🤯. It's no surprise they're getting top seeding with four wins from four - they've got a solid squad and Franco Smith's strategy is really paying off 🔥. And now, hosting Bulls at home? That's just peachy for the Warriors' fans ⚪️. The Bulls are gonna have their work cut out for them trying to take down Glasgow in Scotstoun 🏠. Will they be able to break through the Warriors' defense and make it a competitive match? Either way, I'm hyped to see how this one plays out 🤔!
