
So I think it's crazy how polarized this issue is

especially when you consider the majority of Americans are against mass deportations & ICE's brutality

. What's surprising is that more people aren't speaking out against this stuff, considering all the horrific stories about family separations & mistreatment of migrants.
For a long time, Democrats have been playing it safe on immigration

, but now they need to take some serious risks and show that they're willing to stand up for what's right

. If they don't, it'll be hard for them to regain trust with their base

.
On the other hand, I do think we should explore ways to reform our immigration system

rather than just demonizing ICE

. There are many smart, bipartisan solutions out there that could address some of these issues without resorting to all-or-nothing policies

It's gonna be a tough road ahead, but if Democrats can manage to find common ground & stay true to their values

, I think we might see some real progress
