EU and US to restart trade talks as sticking points on July tariff deal remain

🤗 oh man, it's like both the US and EU are stuck in this never-ending cycle of negotiations 🔄💼 i feel so bad for all the businesses caught in the middle trying to figure out how to adapt to these tariffs 📈😩 and then there's the steel industry on both sides just trying to make ends meet 💸🔨 it's like, can't we just find a way to work together? 🤝 the EU's proposal for alignment with US steel anti-dumping proposals does seem like a good starting point though 🤞 maybe if they can just keep the pressure off and focus on finding common ground 🌈💖
 
OMG u guyz 🤯 so like what's good is the EU tryna push for those steel anti-dumping proposals but the US is all like "nah fam" and trying to protect its own industries lol. I mean can't we just get along? 🤝 Like seriously though, whoever thought it was a good idea to impose 200% tariffs on knitting needles btw? 😂

And can we talk about how long this trade stuff has been going on for? It feels like forever. Like when's the next time these two powers are gonna figure out their differences? 🤔 Will it be next week in Brussels or will we have to wait till after Christmas? 🎄

For real tho, I hope they can get something done soon 'cause this back-and-forth is getting old fast. Let's just say I'll be over here waiting for some progress...or maybe not 🤷‍♂️
 
🤔 I'm all for the US and EU getting their trade talks back on track, but let's be real, it's gonna take some serious compromise from both sides 🙅‍♂️. 50% tariffs on steel and aluminum? That's a whole lotta hurtin' goin' on for European exporters 🚨. And don't even get me started on the "hidden" tariffs on steel derivatives - that's just not cool, man 😒.

I'm hoping they can work out some sort of deal that benefits everyone involved, but it's hard to see how when there are so many sticking points 🤯. Alignment with Trump's steel tariffs is a good start, but it's gonna take more than that to smooth things over 🌊.

Let's just hope they don't let Christmas come and go without makin' some progress 🎅‍♂️. Fingers crossed for a resolution, but I'm keepin' my expectations low 😐.
