European football: Olmo double takes Barca top; Díaz fires up Bayern's late rally

Barcelona's Dani Olmo netted two goals to propel his team to the top of La Liga with a 3-1 victory over Alavés. Lamine Yamal and Raphinha assisted in the first half as Barca bounced back from an early Pablo Ibáñez goal, which had given the hosts a shock lead just seven minutes into the match.

Olmo scored his second of the game late on to seal the win for Barcelona, who moved two points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the table. The victory marked Olmo's first double in La Liga and followed a fine first half from Raphinha, who had helped Barca take control with his assists.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich came from behind to beat St Pauli 3-1 in stoppage-time for their 45th consecutive round at the top of the Bundesliga table. Luis Díaz and Nicolas Jackson scored the late goals that sealed the win for Bayern.

Dortmund scored twice to defeat Leverkusen 2-1, moving them into third place in the league. Aaron Anselmino headed home Daniel Svensson's free-kick before Karim Adeyemi scored a second goal. Leverkusen pulled back through Christian Kofane but held on for the win.

Milan moved top of Serie A with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Lazio, Rafael Leão scoring the only goal in the second half to give his team a 28-point haul. Juventus secured a late 2-1 win over Cagliari to move into seventh place on 23 points.

Monaco scored their first league defeat of the season, coming from behind to beat Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 away from home. Lamine Camara escaped with a yellow card for a tackle on Chevalier before Monaco's Vitinha was kept quiet by a hard-working Monaco midfield and Monaco midfielder Aleksandr Golovin's pass allowed Takumi Minamino to score the winner.

PSG suffered their first league defeat of the season, losing 1-0 at home to Monaco. PSG goalkeeper Mike Maignan made an incredible fingertip save in the opening minutes before Monaco took advantage of a Thilo Kehrer red card and came from behind with goals from Takumi Minamino and Lamine Camara.

omg, what a match!!! 🤯 Dani Olmo is on fire 🔥 his goal-scoring record in La Liga can't be beat! Barca's team effort was solid, they definitely deserved the win 👏. Raphinha's assist skills are insane 🤓 his goal-setting up Olmo for his second goal was pure magic ✨. Bayern's late comeback is so clutch 💪 beating St Pauli on stoppage time is a great way to stay at the top of the Bundesliga. Dortmund's win over Leverkusen shows they're definitely in the mix for that third place spot 📈 Milan's win over Lazio gives them a strong lead in Serie A, but Juventus' 2-1 win over Cagliari means there's still some competition 🔥

🎉🔥 I'm lovin' Barcelona's Dani Olmo! He's on fire right now! 😆 2 goals in one match is crazy! His assist skills are 🔩💥 Barca is lookin' good to win La Liga this season! 🏆 Meanwhile, Bayern Munich is still killin' it with their 45th consecutive round win! 🙌 And Milan takin' the lead in Serie A? That's some serious competition! 💪 Can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store for these teams! 😃

just saw this match between barcelona and alaves and i gotta say, olmo's 2 goals were insane 🤯 he's been on fire lately! but what's up with PSG getting beat by monaco at home? that's just crazy talk 💥 they've been dominating all season and now they get taken down. it's like the league is wide open right now 🌟 anyway, back to barcelona... 3-1 win is huge for them and moving them ahead of real madrid in la Liga is a big deal 😅

omg u guys barca is doin amazing right now, just hit 3-1 over Alaves but thats not the news lol theyre only 2 points clear of real madrid atm, that could change so fast. Bayern munich is also on a hot streak comin from behind to beat st pauli in stoppage time and movin up the table but thats not even the craziest part Dortmund scored TWICE and jumped into 3rd place lol what else can happen

omg cant believe barca is top of la liga now 🤯💪 olmo's skills r insane lol i was watching the game w/ my friends and we were all like "how did they score those goals?" 😂👀 anyways, gotta give props to raphinha he had a sick performance 👏👍 also Bayern's comeback is straight fire 💥🔥 leipzig fans are gonna be so salty rn 🤣

omg u guys cant even imagine how hyped i was when i watched that barcelona match lol Dani olmo is literally my spirit animal he's like the ultimate goal scorer i swear i'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it 😆 his second goal was so clutch and barca played such a solid game overall. i mean dont get me wrong real madrid is still gonna give them a run for their money but barcelona is definitely looking strong rn

omg what a match!! Dani Olmo is on fire 🔥 he's like a superhero out there saving barca from that early goal 😱 i love how raphinha assisted him in the first half too 🤩 it was such an exciting game, i'm so glad barcelona took the lead and kept pushing to get that 3-1 win 💪 now they're two points clear of real madrid at the top of la liga, talk about a comeback story! 📈

omg did barca really come back from 1-0 down? i mean pablo ibanez scored that early goal but barca's bench must've been like "yaaas let's do this" lol🤣 danil olmo is a genius! 2 goals in one game? raphinha was on fire too, those assists were so smooth 😎 what's going on with bayern munich tho, they're still on top after that crazy stoppage time win 🏆 but leversen looks like they're in trouble now... and why did paris saint germain lose to monaco? was it just a fluke? 😱

omg i just saw that game with dani olmo he's so cool lol i was watching with my friends and we were all like "he's gonna score again!" 🤩 anyway i'm not really into sports but barca seems to be doing pretty well right now 🎉 i think real madrid is still close tho? can someone explain me how teams get points and stuff? 😂 btw did u see that save by mike maignan? what was he thinking?! 🙈

man I'm loving this season so far ⚽️! Barcelona is looking like solid contenders for La Liga, Dani Olmo's skills are insane 🤯! Bayern Munich is dominating the Bundesliga as well, 45 consecutive wins is incredible 💪! but what's with all these red cards? PSG's Thilo Kehrer got sent off and Monaco took advantage of it 😂. that Monaco win over PSG was epic, Takumi Minamino's goal was so clutch 🎯! and Milan finally moving to the top of Serie A is awesome 👏. Dortmund's performance too, they're making a statement in the Bundesliga 💥. I'm really enjoying the competitiveness in all these leagues this season 💪

Ugh, can't even watch sports anymore 😩. La Liga teams are just racking up the wins and points while the rest of Europe is struggling to keep up. Bayern Munich is on a 45-game winning streak, which is insane 🤯. Meanwhile, Monaco just got their first league loss and PSG suffered their first defeat too 💔. Barcelona's Olmo scored two goals in one game, that's just too much 😅. It feels like teams are just dominating the rest of Europe right now, and it's making me depressed about the chances of any other team making a comeback 🤕.

omg did u see that match between barca & alaves?? Dani olmo is on fire rn 🚀💥 i mean 2 goals in one game is insane!! raphinha was everywhere out there too, what a performance from him! 😆 and barca's comeback was so thrilling, it was like they were all gonna give up but nope lol. anywayz, it looks like barca are killin it rn, gotta be excited for the rest of la liga 🤩

Barcelona is lookin' strong this season 🤩! Dani Olmo's got some serious game, nettin' 2 goals in one match. I think he's gonna be a key player for them to stay top of La Liga. And that comeback against Alavés was crazy! Bayern Munich also keepin' up the pace with those late goals, their bench is like a arsenal 🤯. Dortmund movin' into third spot and it's lookin' good for them too. Milan's takin' control in Serie A and Juventus gettin' back on track after that tough loss last season. PS...

I don’t usually comment but I think it’s pretty crazy how some teams are pulling away at the top of their leagues! Barcelona just went up to the top spot in La Liga after that 3-1 win over Alavés 🤯. And Bayern Munich is on a roll too, they keep coming from behind to get those late wins 🔄. It's like they're playing some kind of superhero season 😂.

But seriously though, it's nice to see Monaco finally getting their first loss of the season 🙏. They were stuck in a 0-0 draw for ages and it was just begging to happen. And PSG, well... I don’t think anyone saw that coming 😲. Losing at home to Monaco is no joke.

I do wonder how Real Madrid will react to losing those two points though 😕. Will they be able to catch up? Only time will tell ⏰.

omg I just saw the funniest video of a cat trying to 'help' its owner cook dinner lol what's up with those little paws think they own the kitchen 🤣 anyway back to football i love how Barcelona is doing so well this season but u know who's been on fire lately? That Bayern Munich team is insane! 45 consecutive wins wow that's like a streak in sports history 🏆 and I wonder if Raphinha was watching some cat videos before the game to get those assists 💻

omg what is going on with paris saint germain right now 🤯 they just got beat 1-0 by monaco like whats happening to them?? i know monaco has been having a good run but psg is supposed to be one of the best teams in france and europe lol 😂 meanwhile barcelona is on fire and dani olmo is killing it out there 🎉💥 two goals for him and barca is at the top of la liga now i'm hyped!!! 💪

I'm not surprised Barca's coming on strong, they've had that talent for ages 🤷‍♂️! Dani Olmo's got some serious skills 🔥, I mean two goals in one game? He's definitely gonna be a star next season ⭐️. And Bayern's defense is looking shaky, I hope they sort out their backline before the Champions League 😬. Dortmund's movement is on point right now 🔄, they're starting to gain some momentum, but can they keep it up? Milan moving top of Serie A is no surprise, Rafael Leão's been a beast 🔪. And PSG just got served ⚫️, not many teams beat them this season... until Monaco came along! 😉
