Five college prospects who could interest the Eagles in the 2026 NFL Draft

Eagles Eyeing Top Draft Prospects: Who Might Be a Fit?

The Philadelphia Eagles are already gearing up for the 2026 NFL Draft, with several college prospects on their radar. As the season progresses, we'll continue to monitor players who make logical sense for the team to consider in next year's draft.

One player who stands out is Ja'Kobi Lane, a towering wide receiver from USC (6'4, 200) with impressive hands and body control. While he hasn't been a consistent producer, Lane has shown flashes of brilliance, including his ability to win contested catches. However, his touchdown celebrations could use some work.

On the defensive side of the ball, Bishop Fitzgerald is making a strong case as one of the top safeties in the country. The 5'11" USC standout has already racked up five interceptions this season, and his instinctive play against the pass and run makes him an attractive prospect for the Eagles.

Temple's Peter Clarke is another player to keep an eye on, particularly if the Eagles are looking to employ a blocking tight end. The 6'6" London native has surprisingly good production as a receiver, with 26 catches for 434 yards this season.

Utah's John Henry Daley is a motor that doesn't stop, racking up 9.5 sacks in the country so far. His pass rush moves are impressive, and he could be a key addition to the Eagles' defensive line.

Mississippi State's Kelley Jones is a cornerback who can fly, with the ability to cover deep and disrupt plays at the catch point. With a strong work ethic and length, Jones is a prospect the Eagles won't want to miss.

With the NFL Draft just around the corner, the Eagles will need to find solutions at CB2. Kelley Jones fits that bill, and his ability to track passes and make tackles could be a game-changer for the team.

omg i love the sound of ja'kobi lane!!! he's so tall and athletic, i can already imagine him making some amazing catches on the field 🤩 plus bishop fitzgerald is already making waves as one of the top safeties in the country - 5 interceptions this season? that's insane! 🙌 peter clarke is another solid pick for a blocking tight end, and john henry daley is like a motor on the defensive line 😂 can't wait to see which players the eagles end up drafting 💥

I'm not sure why teams are still chasing after big guys like Ja'Kobi Lane 🤷‍♂️, they're always going to be high risk, low reward. I mean, can you really count on someone 6'4" with those hands? How often will he actually make a catch or score a touchdown?

I don’t usually comment but I think it’s weird how they're already talking about who might fit with the team in 2026. Like, isn't the draft like, next year or something? Can't we just focus on the present and see what happens on the field first?

idk why ppl are so hyped about Ja'Kobi Lane, he's got some decent moves but hes more of a flash in the pan imo, we need someone who can bring consistency & clutch performances not just some highlight reel grabs 🤷‍♂️

omg i'm so hyped for the draft this year!! 🤩 i was talking to my friend alex from cali who's got a cousin who's like ja'kobi lane's uncle lol anyway, i think bishop fitzgerald would be an amazing addition to our eagles team 😍 he's just so clutch and instinctive on defense. and peter clarke is another guy who needs to get more love 🤗 he's like the ultimate blocking tight end and i'm all about that. but honestly tho, i'm still rooting for kelley jones to come through for us 🙏 he's just got that whole package - speed, agility, and a strong work ethic. fingers crossed!! 💕

I'm watching all these young players grow up to be pros 🤦‍♂️ it's crazy how fast their lives change. I remember when I was in college, we didn't even have video games, let alone social media! Anyway, back to the draft prospects... Kelley Jones seems like a great pick for CB2, he's got that speed and agility that can make a big difference on the field 🏈

I'm loving the buzz about Ja'Kobi Lane, but let's be real, those touchdown celebrations do sound a bit extra 🤣. On a more serious note, I think the Eagles are getting smart with their draft strategy, focusing on players who can make an immediate impact. Bishop Fitzgerald is looking like a solid pick, and Kelley Jones could bring some much-needed depth to that cornerback spot 🌟. What's interesting is how they're looking at Temple's Peter Clarke as a potential blocking tight end – could be a game-changer for their offense 💡.

I'm thinking the Eagles have a solid shot at snagging Ja'Kobi Lane in the draft 🤔... he's got some huge upside, but also some inconsistency issues 📉 still gotta see how he'll hold up against top-tier competition 💪... meanwhile, Kelley Jones looks like a great fit for CB2 - that guy can flat out run 🏃‍♂️ think he'd be a huge upgrade over their current secondary 🔒... what do you guys think? Should the Eagles go wide receiver or cornerback in the draft?

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone 🌟. The Eagles are taking calculated risks on some promising young players, hoping to revamp their team with fresh talent. It's interesting to see how they're evaluating the pros and cons of each draft prospect - a true test of their scouting skills 💡.

I'm only commenting now 'cause I was out of town 🤦‍♂️... gotta say, I think Bishop Fitzgerald would've been a great addition to our CB2 spot if we lost that one guy last season 😒. He's got all the skills to shut down opposing WRs and I love his instincts on the field 💡. Kelley Jones is cool too, but I'm not sure about all the hype around him yet 🤔. Don't get me wrong, he's a great prospect, but let's see how he performs against top competition 👀.

I don’t usually comment but... I think it's kinda weird how they're already focusing on the 2026 draft when we still don't know what's gonna happen with Jalen Hurts this season 🤔🏈. Are they that optimistic about his future? And what if he comes back stronger than ever? Shouldn't they be waiting to see how things play out before making any big moves?
