man Frankie Dettori is hangin' up his riding boots after an epic career that spanned over 40 years! he's had some serious accomplishments under his belt, from winnin' 15 Breeders' Cup titles to breakin' records at Ascot . i'ma miss seein' him on the track, but it's cool that he got to ride in the US for a bit and share his talents with us americans . he's def one of the all-time greats, and i'm honored to have grown up watchin' him ride
I'm gonna miss Frankie Dettori on the track οΈ... He's been a legend for so long, it's weird to think he's actually hanging up his boots . I mean, 15 Breeders' Cup wins? That's just insane! And his record at Ascot in '96 was crazy too . You have to wonder what the racing scene is gonna be like without him ... will they ever find another jockey with that level of skill and charisma? Only time'll tell, I guess
awww man... cant believe frankie dettori is hangin up his boots he's been doin this for like 40 years and its crazy to think hes gonna miss out on all the action he was so good too, always had that spark and energy when he rode into the track and thats not just from his rides either, hes a true legend in every sense of the word i'm sure american racing fans are gonna be missin him somethin fierce but we'll get to see him in all the retrospectives and documentaries they're bound to make after this
This is a bittersweet moment for the racing world ! Frankie Dettori's retirement after Saturday's Breeders' Cup at Del Mar is truly sad news . I mean, who can forget his iconic win on Desert King back in 1993? That was pure magic ! As a huge fan of the sport, it's hard to believe someone as talented and dedicated as Frankie will no longer be riding into the sunset . But at 54, he's earned his retirement and deserves all the accolades for an incredible career that spans over four decades #RIPFrankieDettori #LegendsOfTheTrack
man Frankie dettori is literally a legend! 54 years old and still riding like a pro i mean dont get me wrong he's gotta retire but its sad to see him go from us racing scene especially after last yrs performance in breeders cup argine might be his final ride but im hoping hes got some more tricks up his sleeve
omg i cant even believe frankie dettori is retiring i mean hes been my idol since im a kid i used to watch racing with my dad and he would always talk about how awesome dettori was like "did you see that incredible win at ascot in 96? " lol my dad's such a legend too btw
anyway back to dettori ... i remember when he first came to the us and everyone thought hes just some italian guy with a cool mustache but turns out hes a GENIUS on horses idk how many times ive scrolled through his social media and seen him just chillin at the track or taking selfies with fans lol
anyway im literally gonna miss watching him ride i know its sad to see an era end but dettori's legacy will live on thru all the amazing riders he's inspired over the years i cant even begin to count how many times hes made me want to get into racing
