GoTrax’s Mustang Electric Bike Makes Me Feel Like I’m in ‘Stranger Things’

For a bike that's more dirt bike than electric bicycle, the GoTrax Mustang is surprisingly agile and easy to ride. It may look like it's more geared towards older riders or those who are looking for a simple commute, but in reality, it can handle pretty rough terrain without any issues.

The bike comes with a powerful 750-watt motor that makes quick work of even the steepest hills. It has five different levels of pedal assist to help reduce strain on your muscles while still providing a full-body workout. Plus, its front suspension system and wide tires make for a comfy ride, especially when navigating rougher terrain.

When it comes to controls, the bike features a full-color LCD display that shows everything from speed and battery life to pedal assist level and motor usage in real-time. It also has an open throttle feature for those times when you want to let the engine rev its own engines.

However, there are some downsides to this bike. The most significant is probably the lack of adjustment options for riders. GoTrax only offers one size with a fixed seat height that might not suit everyone - especially taller folks like me.

Another problem I had was navigating steeper inclines. A higher seat height would be nice, but it's too bad there isn't an option to get that on this bike either.

On the plus side, though, GoTrax makes up for some of these shortcomings with its affordability and a battery life of around 28 miles - plenty enough for daily commutes in my area.

OMG 🤯 I'm so down for a bike like this! I mean who needs to worry about getting sweaty on the way to work, right? 😂 The pedal assist levels sound super helpful, especially during those early morning rides when you're still half asleep... zzz...

But seriously though, I do wish they had adjustable seat heights. That would make it more inclusive for people of all ages and heights 🤗. And yeah, navigating steeper inclines can be a bit tricky... maybe they could add some kind of cruise control or something? 🚴‍♀️

That being said, 28 miles of battery life is pretty cool 🎉. I'm thinking of getting one for my daily commute to work... only if they make it available in taller sizes 😅

I mean, think about it, if you're lookin' at an electric bike like the GoTrax Mustang, what's the real government incentive here? Are we really supposed to just assume that every rider is gonna be some low-riding, older dude or whatever? I don't think so 🤔. And what about those of us who need a little extra height adjustment? It's like they're not even considerin' the broader needs of the cycling community. And let's talk about affordability - 28 miles ain't exactly a lot for someone tryin' to get around town, especially if you gotta take a few detours. 🚴‍♂️ I think we need more transparency on how these companies are prioritizin' their features and pricing. It's all about the bottom line, right? 💸

idk why more ppl dont consider bikes like these when they need to get around lol they're literally perfect for people who have to ride in rough terrain or just wanna be able to shred some trails on the weekends 🤣 i mean, 28 miles of battery life is def good enough for me and it's so much cheaper than a car 💸 the only thing that would make it better is if they offered different seat heights so everyone can find their perfect fit 👍

I gotta say, I've seen ppl sayin' this thing is too basic for serious off-road ridin', but I think that's a bit harsh. It's not gonna win any rally races, but it's a solid commuter bike that can handle some rough terrain. 28 miles on a charge ain't bad either. My only issue with it is the fixed seat height - been there, broken my neck tryin' to adjust it, lol 😂. And I wish they offered more pedal assist levels, feels like you're always gotta pump harder than you need to. But for the price? It's a solid choice for city folks lookin' for something easy to ride and maintain 🚴‍♂️

I gotta say, I'm loving the versatility of the GoTrax Mustang! It's defo not your average e-bike. The power and agility are pretty impressive, especially when it comes to tackling rough terrain. But, at the same time, I wish they'd offered more size options - it can be a bit of a stretch for taller riders like myself 🤷‍♂️. And, yeah, navigating super steep inclines could be a bit of a challenge without some extra adjustments 😅. That being said, 28 miles on a single charge is pretty decent, especially if you're just using it for daily commutes in your area 🚴‍♂️. All in all, I'd say the GoTrax Mustang is a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable and affordable e-bike that can handle some serious terrain 🌄

🚴‍♀️ I'm lovin' the new GoTrax Mustang! 🤩 It's like, totally unexpected how agile it is, especially for an e-bike that's more geared towards off-road vibes 🏔️. The 750-watt motor is insane 🔥 and makes hills a breeze 🚨. Plus, the front suspension system 👍 and wide tires make for a comfy ride 😌. I'm a fan of the LCD display 📱 too - it's like having all the stats at your fingertips 🤖.

However, one thing that's got me is the lack of adjustment options 🤔. A more adjustable seat height would be awesome 👍. And, navigating steeper inclines can be tough 🔝. But, for the price and range (28 miles 🚗) it's a solid deal 💸. Overall, I'd def recommend this e-bike to anyone lookin' for some off-road fun 😎!

OMG I just got one of these bikes and it's SO much fun!!! I mean, it's not like it's super tough or anything, but the trails in my town are pretty rough lol! The suspension is a lifesaver on those bumpy bits 😂. And the motor is so strong, I can take it up hills that would give me a heart attack on foot! 🏃‍♀️ But yeah, one thing they could work on is making it more customizable - like, I'm pretty tall and this seat is way too low for me... 🤦‍♀️. Other than that, though, it's an amazing deal for the price 💸. I've been using it to cruise around town and get some exercise, and it's honestly one of my favorite things to do! 👍

I gotta say, I've been eyeing this bike and it seems like a beast on paper! 🤯 The power output is insane, but at the same time, the pedal assist levels seem like they're more geared towards casual riders than serious off-road enthusiasts. For me, the fixed seat height would be a major issue - I'm 6'2" and can already imagine struggling to find my comfort zone on this thing.

But you know what? For a bike in its price range, I'd say it's not bad at all! The LCD display is dope and all the other features seem legit. I've heard rumors of an upcoming update that'll add more adjustment options, so fingers crossed for that!

I'm really loving the GoTrax Mustang so far! 🚴‍♂️ It's like they designed it to cater to people who want a fun ride, but still have some features that make it suitable for daily commutes. The 750-watt motor is insane! 😲 I mean, I've ridden bikes with smaller motors and struggled to climb even the smallest hills. But this thing? No problemo! 💪 And the LCD display is so cool - I love how much info it gives you without making it too cluttered.

But, like you said, there are some drawbacks. The fixed seat height is a major bummer for taller people (I feel ya, bro 😂). And navigating super steep inclines can be tough with just five levels of pedal assist. Can't they offer adjustable seats or something? 🤔 It's also weird that there isn't an open throttle feature without having to manually switch it on - I mean, come on! 🤷‍♂️

Despite the downsides, though, I'm really impressed with how affordable this bike is and how far its battery lasts. 28 miles is no joke for daily commutes! 💸

I gotta say, I'm loving the agility of this bike lol 🚴‍♂️! The pedal assist levels are super helpful when you're just starting out or need an extra boost. But for someone like me who's a bit taller than average, it would be awesome if they offered more adjustment options 😒. The battery life is pretty decent too, I can do around 20 miles on mine before needing to recharge. Overall, it's a solid option for those looking for a dirt bike vibe without breaking the bank 💸.
