Omg I'm so hyped about this new spot in Detroit! Chucky Payton is a total boss in the culinary world, been following his journey from LA to Vegas and now here. But, gotta say, the menu sounds kinda mixed, like what's with all these quesadillas? Can't they just pick 3-4 signature items and go with it? Still, I'm all about that comfort food vibe, especially the mac and cheese - a Detroit classic! And partnering with the Liquor Basket Gratiot to serve art show food is genius, love seeing local businesses support each other. But, will this new spot live up to my hype? We'll see...
I'm loving this new grab-and-go spot from Chucky Payton ! It's a great example of how food can bring people together and celebrate community - I mean, who doesn't love a good comfort gourmet meal? The fact that the restaurant is not only serving up delicious eats but also partnering with local art shows and events to promote Black-owned brands is just fantastic. I'm particularly excited about the $5 breakfast menu, it sounds like a game-changer for busy mornings. And the plantain nachos are calling my name... can't wait to try them out!
