Grassroots Groups Call For Black Friday To Cyber Monday Retail Boycotts

Ugh, this is getting so deep 🤯! I'm telling ya, it's all connected – the politicians, the corps, the media... they're all in on some kinda scheme. I mean, think about it: Black Friday and Cyber Monday are basically just holidays created to get us to spend more money than we need to. And now these activists are trying to boycott those same companies? It's like they're caught up in a giant trap 🤸‍♀️.

But at the same time... I get why they'd wanna do this. The corporate policies are pretty shady, especially when it comes to DEI and labor rights. Like, what's really going on behind the scenes at Home Depot? And Amazon's got some serious connections with the Trump admin... that's just not right 🚫.

I'm all for supporting local businesses and stuff, but I'm also not sure if boycotting these major corps is gonna make a real difference. Maybe we need to take it up another notch – canceling ad-driven platforms, refusing work for a whole weekend... that sounds like some hardcore activism 🚫💥. Either way, I'll be keeping an eye on this situation – you can bet your bottom dollar I will! 🔍

omg what a crazy idea 🤯 think it's so cool that ppl are standin up for change but at the same time i'm like is boycotting gonna really make a difference tho? won't just give corporations an excuse 2 cut more jobs & close smaller businesses? also how r they gonna track whether u're shopin or not? 🤔 plus isnt this 2, like, different types of protests? one's more about shopping habits & the other's about no spendin at all? 🤑 either way i love that ppl are gettin loud & makin statements

I'm thinking that this boycott thingy might not be as effective as people think it is... I mean, we all know how much Amazon makes from its Prime membership deals, so if they just pass the savings on to customers, who cares? And let's be real, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are basically just a myth perpetuated by retailers to get us to spend more. We've already been conditioned to buy stuff during this time of year. 🤑 But I do think it's cool that people are coming together to make a statement about corporate policies and DEI initiatives. It's always good to see some transparency around how businesses treat their employees and the community. On the other hand, I'm not sure if canceling all spending except for donations would be a healthy financial choice... like, wouldn't you need some cash on hand for bills or something? 🤷‍♂️

I'm so down with this 🤦‍♂️ boycott thing... like, it's about time someone spoke up against these corporate giants, you know? I mean, who needs all that consumerism crap anyway? Target is just gonna make more money off their own ignorance 🤑, and Amazon's just a bunch of soulless bots trying to break the world. But seriously, supporting Black-owned businesses or local small businesses is a dope move... those folks need our love 💕. And can we please just cancel all those ads on streaming services? It's like, our eyeballs are basically rent-controlled 📺. The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that this boycott thing is gonna be HUGE 🤯. We might as well take a stand for what's right and show these corporate shills who's boss 💪.

I'm low-key hyped for this movement 🤩. As someone who's always been anti-consumerism anyway, I gotta respect the hustle behind "We Ain't Buying It". Target's decision to drop its DEI initiatives is wild, and Home Depot's ICE ties are straight-up concerning 🚫. Amazon's tax cut deal with the Trump admin? Forget about it 💸. The thing that really gets me though is how these corporations think they can just push their DEI goals under the rug when we're talking about real systemic change.

The "Mass Blackout" campaign is a whole different level of commitment, but I gotta admit, I'm tempted to join in for a week 🤯. Canceling all non-essential spending and avoiding ad-driven platforms? That's some next-level resistance 💪. The thing that's got me worried though is how the media's gonna spin this - will they focus on the message or just paint it as some crazy anti-consumer rant 😒?

I'm totally down with this movement 🤝. It's time we as consumers start using our power to drive change. I've been feeling really frustrated with the way big corps are rolling back on diversity initiatives and just prioritizing profits over people. Target, Home Depot, and Amazon have got to be held accountable for their actions 👀. The fact that they're targeting undocumented immigrants is just insane 🤯. We need more support for our local small businesses that actually care about the community and not just lining the pockets of shareholders. And let's be real, it's time we stop enabling these corporate policies with our dollars 💸. I'm ready to join this movement and make a statement during Black Friday and Cyber Monday 📣.
