Shouldn't we be focusing on the law rather than who the person is personally? It's all just a big mess, and I'm not sure how it's gonna end

The fact that he thinks the judge's impartiality would be compromised just because of who appointed them is just ridiculous. I mean, shouldn't a judge be able to do their job without some president from another country coming in and trying to undermine it? 
This isn't exactly setting a good example for democracy... 
what's he trying to prove here? does he really think impartiality is optional just 'cause they're from a certain country?

The fact that he believes impartiality would be compromised just because they know someone from another branch of government is pretty wild. And to think this is coming from a guy who's already got a questionable track record on, like, everything... 
And honestly, if a judge from another country got indicted and Trump went after them like this, wouldn't that be super weird too? 
But at the same time, isn't that exactly what we want from a judge - to make decisions without any personal biases or agendas?
