so i was reading about this biologist anthony waddle who's trying to save frogs from extinction and he's like totally genius
. his idea of using mini saunas to keep them warm is actually kinda cool, especially since it's helping them resist the deadly fungus. but what really caught my attention is that he's also working on synthetic biology to introduce new traits into frogs. it's crazy how scientists are pushing boundaries and exploring new ways to save endangered species
.
i mean, we've seen how devastating climate change and habitat loss have been for our planet, so it's awesome to see people like waddle taking action and innovating solutions. it's not going to be easy, but if he can make a difference even with just a few experiments, that's definitely something to celebrate
.
anyway, i'm curious - what do you guys think about synthetic biology? is it something we should be exploring more for conservation efforts?
