Intel's Core Ultra Series 3 let me play 'Battlefield 6' at 190 fps on a Lenovo ultraportable

Intel's Core Ultra X9 388H processor, part of the latest XeSS3 AI upscaling technology, has achieved remarkable performance in a recent test. In a Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 ultraportable laptop, this chip was able to sustain high frame rates in 'Battlefield 6' at 190 frames per second (fps) on 1080p resolution with high graphics settings.

The primary factor behind this impressive result is Intel's XeSS3 AI upscaling and 4X frame generation technology. While not directly a GPU, it enables the system to produce smooth gameplay without lag. This suggests that even when utilizing an integrated Arc B390 GPU, Intel can deliver a similar gaming experience found on more powerful hardware.

In comparison to other available GPUs like Radeon 890M or Arc 140T, Intel's new B390 GPU offers a substantial performance boost of around 80% and 76%, respectively. The chip appears to be comparable in performance to the mobile RTX 4050 GPU, which is no small feat considering its classification as mid-range.

While not all Core Ultra 3 processors can achieve this level of gaming performance due to varying numbers of Xe GPU cores - only X7 and X9 chips feature the necessary 12 Xe GPU cores. The rest rely on four Xe cores and standard Intel graphics, resulting in significantly lower performance.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5's integrated Arc B390 GPU enables users to enjoy high gaming performance without the need for a dedicated graphics card, showcasing the growing capabilities of Intel's embedded Arc graphics solutions.

just seen this news about intel's new chip and i'm stoked 🤩, i mean who needs a separate gpu when ur laptop can handle bf6 at 190fps on 1080p? that 80% performance boost is straight fire 🔥, and its even better than some mid-range mobile gpus like the rtx 4050. i know not all core ultra chips have this tech but still, intel's making waves in the gaming scene 🌊

This is sick! I'm not surprised, Intel has been grinding hard in the chip game and it shows 💥 The fact that their new Core Ultra X9 processor can deliver 190 fps on 1080p resolution with high graphics settings is a major win for gaming laptops 🎮. And the best part is, you don't need a separate GPU to get this performance - the built-in Arc B390 GPU is doing all the heavy lifting 💪. I'm curious to see how these chips will hold up in real-world usage and if they'll be able to keep up with the competition 🤔.

omg this is crazy! intel finally pulling their weight with these new processors lol i mean 190fps on 1080p is insane! and it's not just about the speed, it's about the gaming experience too. no more lag or stuttering for anyone rocking a lenovo laptop 🤯

i'm loving how intel is pushing the boundaries of what's possible with embedded graphics solutions. those arc b390 chips are straight fire 🔥 and i gotta say, 80% performance boost over radeon 890m is insane! who needs a dedicated gpu when you've got this? 🤑

🤔 The idea that Intel can deliver a similar gaming experience to more powerful hardware on an ultraportable laptop is still pretty wild to me... I mean, 190 fps on 1080p resolution with high settings? That's some crazy smooth gameplay! 💥 But at the same time, it's also kinda reassuring to know that Intel has made some serious strides in their AI upscaling tech. It's just weird that not all Core Ultra X processors can achieve this level of performance... I guess you need those 12 Xe GPU cores to make it happen 🤷‍♂️

So Intel's finally cracked the code on making their processor not just good at crunching numbers but also pretty smooth at running games 🤣 I mean who needs a separate GPU when you can have your processor be that cool? It's like they're trying to outdo AMD and NVIDIA together - but let's be real, this is what we've been waiting for, more options for those on-the-go gaming sessions... or maybe just checking Fortnite in class 😜

just thinking about this new intel chip, its like they're actually making gaming on laptops possible 🤩... i mean, 190 fps is crazy! and it makes me wonder if we'll ever see more powerful laptops that can play games on the go without needing a giant backpack full of gpu's 😂. but seriously, its impressive that intel can offer this level of performance with just an integrated gpu. maybe we're finally seeing the future of gaming tech take shape 💻
