Jaxson Dart’s say in next head coach could be a notable Giants departure

Sources Close to Giants Reveal Jaxson Dart's Influence on Next Head Coach Search May be Limited.

The New York Giants' decision to bypass quarterback Jaxson Dart when selecting the next head coach raises eyebrows about the team's approach to player empowerment. According to insiders, Joe Schoen, the current general manager, acknowledged that while Dart has valuable insights, his input may be taken into account "if he has an opinion." However, Schoen also emphasized that with 20+ years of experience in the league and a network of contacts, the team will lean on more seasoned voices rather than young players.

While it's hard to see this decision as anything other than obvious, it marks a shift from the Giants' approach under former coach Brian Daboll. The team has been praised for making talented rookies like Malik Nabers feel valued and included in key decisions. However, Dart's limited involvement in the head coaching search suggests that the Giants may be navigating a fine line between recognizing player expertise and maintaining control over key personnel decisions.

🤔 So I'm thinking it's kinda funny how they're trying to balance giving young players a say with still being super in charge of the team. Like, Dart has experience but he's not exactly a seasoned pro... 🤑 Meanwhile, Joe Schoen is all about using his 20+ years of league experience and connections to make calls. It's like, do you value the player's insight or keep it old-school? And honestly, I feel like we're gonna see more of this fine line being walked in the future, especially with how they handled Malik Nabers' role under Daboll 🤝

idk why they would bypass someone with an opinion lol 🤔, i mean Jaxson Dart seems like a smart kid and all... but 20+ years of experience is a big thing, maybe he's just not ready for that kinda power yet 😐. on the other hand, it does seem weird that they're not taking him seriously as a potential head coach, especially since he did do pretty well under Brian Daboll 🤷‍♂️

I'm loving how the Giants are giving their young players some major props, but at the same time, it's all about keeping the veterans in charge 🤔 #GiantsNation #PlayerEmpowerment. I mean, don't get me wrong, Jaxson Dart has some legit skills on the field, but 20+ years of experience speaks for itself 💯. The team needs some seasoned voices to guide them through tough decisions 🗣️. It's all about finding that balance between letting your young players shine and keeping control 👊. I'm curious to see how this plays out with future drafts and player development... will they go all-in on youth or mix it up? 🔄 #NFL #GiantsCoaches

omg what even is this???? 🤯 they're basically saying they value young players opinions but only like when it's convenient for them lol the giants are all about those 20+ years of experience vibes now i get it joe schoen has connections but come on they just showed jaxson dart his feelings aren't valued and that's kinda harsh 😐 malik nabers was included in key decisions but this is a whole diff story and why can't we have more players like jaxson dart who are all about putting the team first 🤷‍♂️

idk about this... seems kinda weird that Jaxson Dart's opinions are only gonna count if he has one lol 😂. i get where Joe Schoen is coming from, 20+ years of experience is huge, but it feels like the team is saying "hey kid, we know you're smart, but we'll let the grownups make this decision". on the other hand, they did do a good job with Malik Nabers and other rookies, so maybe this is just a step back? 🤔

This is gonna be another disaster 🤦‍♂️. Think about it, they're basically saying young players don't know what's best for the team... meanwhile Dart was just starting to make a name for himself and now his "valuable insights" are being taken with a grain of salt. I mean, if 20+ years of experience means more seasoned voices, that just sounds like code for "we're not gonna listen to anyone who's actually new to the game". And what about player empowerment? It's all well and good when they're praising talented rookies, but as soon as it comes to making actual decisions, they're drawing a line in the sand. This is just another example of how out of touch the Giants are 🙄

lol just think about it... Jaxson Dart's been with the team for like 2 seasons now & he's ALREADY influencing head coach search? 🤔 i'm good, joe schoen said his input will be taken if he has an opinion, not exactly mind-blowing. but seriously tho, does anyone really think the giants' gm is gonna listen to some rookie QBs opinions on coaching hires? seems like they're tryin to keep it old-school, experience-wise... i get it, 20+ years in the league is a lot, but can't you just have your players in the room during interviews or somethin'? 🤷‍♂️

OMG u guys 🤯 i'm literally shook by this news!!! i mean, i get it, 20+ yrs of exp is important but like, what about all the talented rookies they're tryin to build around?? i loved how Brian Daboll made players feel included and valued, Malik Nabers bein' one of them 🙌. Dart's got valuable insights for sure, he played in the league, he knows what works... but Schoen is straight up dismissin' his input like "if he has an opinion" lol no offense, Joe 😅. What's next? Are they just gonna ignore all the young players who actually know the game? 🤔

🤔💡 I'm kinda surprised dey pass on Jaxson Dart's input 🙅‍♂️. On one hand, Joe Schoen got all that experience 💪, but Dart's been doin' some cool stuff out there on the field 🏈. It feels like they're playin' it safe, not givin' that young dude a real say in things 🤷‍♂️. Maybe dey just wanna make sure they don't get too influenced by the new head coach's ideas? 😬 But at the same time, Dart's got some solid opinions, and it'd be cool to see him more involved in decision makin' 💬. I dunno, feels like a bit of a trade-off between empowerin' players and keepin' control 🤝.

🤔 gotta wonder if they're just trying to avoid Jaxson's... unique perspective on team management 🙃. Like, who needs 20+ years of experience when you've got some fresh blood in the room? 😒 also, what's up with the phrase "if he has an opinion" though? sounds like code for "we might consider it, but no promises" 💁‍♀️. seems like they're trying to balance empowerment with keeping things in-house, which is a delicate dance 🤹‍♀️. will be interesting to see how this plays out 👀

I think its kinda weird that they're not takin a chance on Jaxson Dart 🤔. He's got skills, he's young and hungry, and it feels like they're passin him by 'cause of his age 🙅‍♂️. I mean, who says experience is always better than fresh eyes? 🕰️

Here's a little mind map to illustrate my thoughts:
```
+-----------------------+
Experience vs Fresh
Eyes and Young Talent
+-----------------------+
Pros of
Experience
(network,
contacts, etc)
Cons of
Experience
(stale, bias,
older perspective)
+-----------------------+
Pros of Fresh Eyes
(new ideas,
energy, youth
& perspective
+-----------------------+
```
I think they need to find a balance between both 🤝. Dart's got value, and the team should be considerin it 🤑

im not sure about this decision at all 🤔... if they wanna know what's good for the team, why not listen to Jaxson Dart? he seems like a smart kid and i think he deserves some credit for his insights 💡... but i guess you can't put a price on experience 😐... still kinda weird that they're gonna go with older voices over someone who might actually know what's going on in the locker room 🚫

I mean, it's great that Jaxson Dart is being "taken into account"... if he happens to have an opinion 🙄. It's not like he's been with the team for a whole season or anything (0/1, btw). I'm sure Joe Schoen's 20+ years of experience will totally make up for any lack of youth and perspective from the QB 🤔. I wonder what the network of contacts says about this decision... probably just a bunch of old guys who are too out of touch to know better 😂.

I think it's pretty sus how they're handling Jaxson Dart's input on the new head coach. I mean, we all know he's been making waves with his plays on the field, so it's legit that he's got some valuable insights to share. But still, it feels like they're kinda brushing him off 🤔. The Giants have always been known for giving their young players a shot at being part of key decisions, and now it seems like that's being taken away from them. I'm not saying Dart doesn't deserve respect, but at the same time, you gotta wonder if the team is just trying to assert control over things they're not sure about 💯. It's gonna be interesting to see how this all plays out 👀
