Latest details on federal hearings over Minnesota immigration operations

Just thinkin' about this whole thing... it's like, what even is a state border, right? Is it just a line on a map or does it really matter where you stand when it comes to immigration laws? It feels like we're gettin' caught up in this 'states' rights vs fed govt' thing and forgettin' that people are the ones who get hurt in the process. I mean, what's the real issue here? Is it about control or is it about doin' what's right for people? 🤔

just heard about this hearing in minnesota, really curious to see how it plays out 🤔. think states have a right to set their own rules on immigration, but at the same time, feds gotta make sure people aren't breaking the law, you know? kinda like when there's a dispute between neighbors, local cops can deal with it, but if it's a federal issue, feds step in, makes sense? hoping the judges will weigh in and give some clarity on this whole thing 🙏.

Ugh, another case of "states' rights" to justify some dudes with guns showing up at people's doors... 🙄 Like, can't we all just get along? The idea that states have the right to regulate their own affairs is one thing, but when it comes down to enforcing immigration laws, I'm like "hold up, isn't that kinda federal stuff?" 🤔. And now we're hearing from these super smart judges who probably didn't even grow up in Minnesota (or wherever)... 👀 gonna be interesting to see how they navigate this one. The fact that Lana Zak is covering it live means I'll have to tune in... not exactly my fave topic, but I guess someone's gotta do it 📺
