Lego has a new round of Star Wars sets that work with the Smart Brick

Lego Unveils New Round of Star Wars Sets Compatible with Smart Play System, Bringing Toy Experience into the 21st Century

Lego has taken its iconic toy-making skills to a new level by partnering up with Star Wars fans worldwide. The company recently announced five brand-new sets that are compatible with its Smart Play system – the latest innovation in the world of toys.

The Smart Play system, launched at this year's CES, features an array of innovative components including Smart Bricks, Smart Tags, and Smart Minifigures. Each set comes equipped with a Smart Brick, which is essentially a high-tech brick that can detect its surroundings, produce sounds, and even interact with other components.

For instance, if you throw a spaceship into the air using Lego's new Star Wars sets, the Smart Brick will respond by producing the sound of an engine whirring. Darth Vader himself makes his ominous deep breathing sound in this clever integration.

Lego fans can now immerse themselves in their favorite Star Wars universe like never before without relying on screens or apps – just pure, tactile fun. This cutting-edge technology is sure to delight both kids and adults alike.

The new sets join three other Star Wars-compatible options: Darth Vader's TIE Fighter ($70), Luke's Red Five X-Wing ($90) and Throne Room Duel & A-Wing ($150). However, unlike the previous sets that come with a Smart Brick already included, these five new additions will require an extra purchase.

But fear not – they do come equipped with the Smart Tags and Smart Minifigures necessary for this feature. The Star Wars Smart Play series is getting even bigger, and it's all about taking your toy experience to the next level.

omg i just got my hands on one of these new sets and its literally the best thing since sliced bread 🤯!! i mean the smart brick thingy is so cool like how it makes that sound for darth vader haha i was playing with it for ages thinking there was someone in the room breathing lol anyway i think its so great that lego is trying to bring back that childhood magic and make us adults feel all nostalgic and stuff at the same time 💕 my kid loves it too but let's be real who doesn't love star wars right? 😆

I'm really stoked about Lego's new Star Wars sets 🤩. It's awesome that they're using tech to enhance the play experience instead of just relying on screens. I mean, who needs a tablet or phone when you can throw around some bricks and have it respond like Darth Vader breathing? 😂 But what's even more interesting is how this technology is bridging the gap between kids' playtime and adults. It shows that toys can still be innovative and exciting for people of all ages 🤝. And I'm curious to see how they'll use this tech to create even more immersive experiences in the future 💡.

Omg, I'm totally hyped about these new Lego Star Wars sets! 🚀 It's like they're bringing back that nostalgic feeling from when we were kids playing with our parents' old VHS tapes... but way more high-tech and cool now 😎 I mean, Darth Vader breathing sounds while you throw the TIE Fighter around? Genius! 🔥 And it's not just for the youngins either, adults are gonna love this too – it's like a fun gaming experience in toy form. Can't wait to get my hands on these sets and play with them! 💡

omg these new lego star wars sets are gonna be so lit!!! i mean can u imagine building a whole tiefighter with a smart brick that makes sounds?! 🤯 and now they're making us buy a separate brick tho, like, what's up with that? 🤑 still, cant wait to get my hands on them, especially the one with darth vader's breathing sound 😎

I'm low-key hyped for these new sets! 🤩 The fact that you can just pick them up and play without needing a screen or app is genius 🙌. I mean, sure, the extra cost might be a bit steep, but trust me, it's worth it 😊. The tech in those Smart Bricks is insane 💥 – who needs screens when you've got mini-Brick robots that can detect and respond to their surroundings? 🔍 It's like having your own personal sci-fi movie 🎥. Plus, Darth Vader's deep breathing sound effect alone is enough to get me hyped 👊

This is absolutely brilliant 🤩! Lego has successfully bridged the gap between nostalgia and innovation by incorporating smart technology into their iconic sets. It's like a dream come true for fans of Star Wars – they can finally engage with their favorite characters in a fully immersive, hands-on experience 😎. I mean, who needs screens when you have Smart Bricks that can detect sounds and produce them on the fly? The attention to detail is impressive, from Darth Vader's ominous breathing to the sound effects of an engine whirring – it's like having your own personal Star Wars movie 🎥. This is exactly what I'd expect from a company like Lego, always pushing the boundaries of creativity and play 💡. Can't wait to get my hands on these new sets! 👍

I'm so stoked about these new Lego Star Wars sets! I mean, who doesn't love the Force in a physical form 🤖? The fact that they can do cool stuff like make sounds when you throw things at 'em is just genius 🤯. And it's not just for kids, I think my friends and I would have so much fun playing with these too 😎. Plus, it's great to see Lego incorporating tech in a way that feels organic, not like some other stuffy gadgets 📦. Can't wait to get my hands on the new sets and start building! 💪

omg i was so hyped when i heard about this 🤩 can't believe they're finally integrating smart tech into lego sets like this - sounds insane! but i'm also a bit concerned about the price tag... $150 for a lego set is kinda steep, even with all the cool smart stuff. still, i guess it's worth it if it means my kid gets to experience the star wars universe in a whole new way 🚀

🤔 I think what really catches my attention here is how Lego is trying to bring that retro feel of playing with toys back into our lives. You know, when we were kids, we didn't need any fancy tech to have fun with our toys – just pure imagination and creativity. And that's exactly what this new system is all about. It's not just about being connected to screens or apps, but about experiencing the world around us in a different way.

It makes me think about how we should be more mindful of our relationship with technology. We're always looking for ways to make it more 'smart' and connected, but sometimes I think we forget that there's beauty in simplicity. This new Lego system is all about embracing that simplicity and finding joy in the little things – like hearing Darth Vader's breathing sound when you throw a spaceship 🛸👊

omg you guys its so depressing lol just think about how much money people are gonna spend on these new sets 🤑💸 like who can afford an extra $20+ for a single Smart Brick?? and what if kids lose them or break them?! its like, good luck making those last longer than 2 weeks without even being played with 😩

omg you guys I just got my hands on these new Star Wars Lego sets 🤩 and trust me they're LIFE.CHANGING 🌟 like, I was skeptical at first but now I'm obsessed! The Smart Play system is so cool, it's like having a little piece of tech in your hands 💻. I mean who needs screens or apps when you can just build and play with these awesome sets? 😊 my 7-year-old nephew is totally loving it too, he's always throwing the planes and making the sounds 🚀💨. Lego really outdid themselves this time! 👏

I'm so stoked about these new Lego Star Wars sets! 🚀 The tech behind them is insane - I mean, who wouldn't want their toys to sound like Darth Vader breathing? 😎 It's like they're jumping straight out of a movie into your living room. And the best part? No screens or apps needed - just pure playtime fun for all ages. My nephew is literally going to lose his mind over these sets. The price point might be a bit steep for some, but trust me, it's worth it. Lego really is pushing the boundaries of what's possible with toys right now... 💥

OMG I'm so stoked about these new Lego Star Wars sets!!! 🤩 They're literally bringing back the fun of playing with Legos in a whole new way! I mean, who doesn't love the idea of throwing a spaceship in the air and hearing Darth Vader's breathing sounds? 😂 It's like having an actual lightsaber right in your hand (minus the actual risk of losing a finger, lol).

And can we talk about how cool it is that these sets don't require any screens or apps? Like, I love playing with Legos on my tablet as much as the next person, but there's just something special about getting lost in the physical experience. Plus, it's awesome that they're making it accessible to both kids and adults – who says you can't be a kid at heart when it comes to Star Wars? 🤪

I remember when I was a kid, my brother got this old Lego set that just had bricks and nothin' else... Nowadays, it's like they're tryin' to make toys smart too 🤖 Smart Bricks, yeah! That sounds kinda cool, but also a bit weird. Like, do we really need our Legos makin' engine noises now? I mean, I liked playin' with my old sets just fine without all that tech stuff. But hey, if it's fun for the kids and makes 'em excited about buildin', then more power to 'em! 💪

omg I just got these new Star Wars Lego sets and they're soooo cool! 🤩 I love how you can throw the spaceship in the air and it makes that engine sound, it's like i'm right there in the galaxy far away 🚀 my 6 year old nephew is totally obsessed with them too, he plays with them for hours on end, it's actually really sweet to see 👶 btw I've been trying to figure out how to charge these Smart Bricks, do you know where I can get a charger for that? 💡

Omg no way! 🤯 They're finally bringing our childhood back to life 🎉 Lego has been killing the game with these new sets and I'm seriously hyped for the Star Wars fans out there 🚀 The fact that we can just throw a toy around without needing some screen to activate it is literally genius 💡 Can you imagine having this kind of immersive experience as an adult? 😂 Still got my childhood nostalgia going strong... 👍

I'm still not convinced on this one... I mean, what's wrong with good old-fashioned play? You're telling me I need some high-tech brick in my kid's hands just to make their Star Wars toys sound cool? It's like they're trying to trick us into buying more gadgets 🤔. And $70 for a TIE Fighter that just makes a breathing sound? That's just plain silly! What's next, paying extra for the lights and sounds on a kid's birthday cake?

awww man, can you imagine building an entire Star Wars universe out of those sets? 🤩 it's like stepping into a whole new world! i'm so stoked for all the kids (and let's be real, adults too lol) who get to experience that kind of magic. and the smart brick tech is just genius - I mean who needs screens when you can have immersive fun with your toys? 🎮💥

omg i'm so hyped about these new star wars lego sets!!! 🤩 they're literally bringing the toys into the 21st century with this smart play system... i mean who needs screens or apps when you can just throw a spaceship in the air and it makes a sound? 😂 it's like, the perfect way to experience star wars without being glued to your screen. i'm loving that darth vader has his deep breathing sounds too, lol what's next? 🤔
