Liam Gallagher Decries 'Seriously F-cked Up' Fan Who Set Off Flares at Oasis' Australia Show

Oasis fans left reeling after flare launches mar Oasis concert in Melbourne

A serious incident unfolded during Oasis's sold-out show at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia last Friday night. The band's performance was disrupted by a fan who set off flares into the crowd, sparking a heated reaction from lead singer Liam Gallagher.

Footage of the incident shows two flares being launched into the air, one landing in the crowd and igniting flames before being quickly contained. Eyewitness Virginia described witnessing both flashes, which looked like fires that were extinguished relatively quickly.

Concerned for their family's safety, Virginia stated she was with her 13-year-old daughter when the flare went off, prompting them to consider leaving the venue early. Despite strict security measures in place at the stadium, including bag checks and scanning of concertgoers before entry, it remains unclear how the flares were brought into the venue.

Liam Gallagher expressed his outrage on social media, calling the fan a "seriously fucked up individual" who would "get theirs." While no arrests have been made, police in Victoria confirmed there was an incident but stated it was not reported. Marvel Stadium also commented on the post by Liam Gallagher and said no one was harmed during the event.

In response to the incident, fans left the venue visibly shaken. The flare launches were seen as a serious breach of safety protocol at live music events.

omg what's wrong with people ๐Ÿคฏ like literally who sets off flares in a crowded concert lol?? Oasis is one of those iconic bands that everyone loves and it's just sad to hear that some fans ruined the experience for others ๐ŸŽธ๐Ÿ”ฅ. I'm glad no one got hurt tho, that could've been super bad ๐Ÿ™. I don't know what was going through that fan's mind but getting " theirs" as Liam said sounds pretty intense ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. security needs to step it up at these events, flares are just so reckless ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ.

omg u gotta be kidding me!!! who does that?! set off flares in a crowded stadium?! so reckless and thoughtless! i mean oasis is an iconic band but this fan's behavior is straight outta a nightmare ๐Ÿคฏโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ i feel bad for the ppl in the crowd, lucky no one was seriously hurt. strict security measures failed to prevent this incident ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ the fact that the fan wasn't reported or arrested is just mind-boggling...what kinda person does that?! anyway, oasis fans deserve way better than this drama ๐Ÿ’”

Ugh ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ, I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole thing... like, who does that?! Setting off flares in a crowded stadium is just insane ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. I get it, Oasis fans are passionate, but come on! You're gonna risk someone's life over a song? It's crazy. And what's with the lack of security measures in place? Like, bag checks and scanning aren't enough if you've got some psycho fan trying to cause chaos ๐Ÿค”. I'm just waiting for someone to get hurt... it's only a matter of time ๐Ÿ˜ฌ.

๐Ÿค• Man, I'm so bummed about what happened at that Oasis concert in Melbourne... it's just not cool when people risk others' safety like that. Flares are super unpredictable and could've easily spread fire or caused panic. I can imagine how freaked out Virginia must have been with her 13-yr-old daughter by her side ๐Ÿคฏ. It's crazy that flares even made it into the venue despite all the security checks... it's just one of those things where you feel like, "what were they thinking?" ๐Ÿ˜’. I hope whoever did this gets caught and gets a serious warning โš ๏ธ. Music events should be fun for everyone, not a breeding ground for trouble ๐ŸŽธ๐Ÿ’”

Man, can you believe what happened at that Oasis concert in Melbourne? ๐Ÿคฏ Flares just going off everywhere like that, it's crazy! I mean, I've been to some wild shows in my time, but this takes the cake. And to think those security checks were supposed to be a thing... I'm surprised no one got hurt, to be honest.

You know, back in my day, we had our share of crazy fans and stuff, but this is just ridiculous. Flares everywhere, like they're just trying to create a scene or something. I feel for the people who were at the concert, man. It's not exactly what you want when you're there to see your favorite band play.

I'm all for having fun and expressing yourself, but come on, guys! Use some common sense, you know? Set off flares into a crowded venue? That's just asking for trouble. I hope the fan who did that gets caught and taught a lesson. We don't need this kind of nonsense at live events anymore ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ’”

๐Ÿ˜ฌ OMG, I'm still trying to process what happened at Oasis's concert in Melbourne last Friday ๐Ÿคฏ! Flares being launched into the crowd is just so reckless and irresponsible ๐Ÿ˜ก. I mean, can you imagine if those flares had landed near someone or sparked a bigger fire? It's a miracle nobody was seriously hurt ๐Ÿ™.

I'm all for a good time at a concert, but this is just not cool ๐ŸŽธ. The fact that security measures weren't enough to prevent it makes me wonder what else could've gone wrong ๐Ÿค”. And Liam Gallagher's reaction on social media totally got me ๐Ÿ˜‚ - I love how outspoken he is!

It's crazy how quickly things can escalate at a live event, and it just goes to show that safety always comes first ๐Ÿšจ. I hope the person responsible gets caught and faces the consequences ๐Ÿ’”.

๐Ÿšจ I think it's super concerning that someone would do that in the middle of an Oasis concert ๐Ÿคฏ. I mean, we've all had those moments where we're just losing it and doing something crazy, but this is completely unacceptable. The fact that the flares were able to get into the crowd without any issues with security is just mind-boggling. Like, what was going through that person's head? ๐Ÿค”

And yeah, I get that Liam Gallagher is understandably upset, but the police are right not to have made an arrest yet - we don't know the full story. But at the same time, if it was someone who meant harm or could've really hurt people, why wasn't there some action taken? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ It's a real shame that this incident is going to leave so many fans shaken up and traumatized by their experience.

I think we need to have a bigger conversation about concert safety and how to prevent these kinds of incidents from happening again. Like, what can be done better in terms of security checks, crowd control, and emergency response plans? We need to make sure that our live music venues are safe spaces for everyone, not just the performers but the fans too ๐Ÿ’”.

can u believe this?? some clueless fan thinks setting off flares is a good idea ๐Ÿ™„ like wut r they even thinkin?! Oasis concert, not some reckless rave in the middle of nowhere! how was it allowed to happen tho? Melbourne stadium has strict security and all but clearly somethin slipped through the cracks. Liam galters right 2 be mad tho, that would've been super scary for everyone in the crowd ๐Ÿคฏ & good on him 4 speakin out about it too

omg u guys can't even go 2 oasis concert w/o some idiot bringing flares?! i'm literally shook rn oasis is my fave band eva & this just makes me wanna hug liam Gallagher so hard he's right, that person was super fucked up & gotta get what's comin 2 them marvel stadium should def increase security next time tho, no one should have 2 go thru dat ๐Ÿค•๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

๐Ÿ˜• this is so crazy i dont get why someone would do that in front of 20k ppl lol what kinda thinking gets you banned from a festival for life ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ and im so sorry to hear the girl was worried about her daughter's safety, hopefully everything turned out alright though ๐Ÿ‘€ at least no one got seriously hurt or anything? seems like the security could've done better tho, idk how 2 flares slipped by all that bag checking & scanning ๐Ÿค‘
