im so hyped 4 lindsey vonn!!! she's defying age & expectations left & right! her speed & technique r still top-notch, even w/ titanium implants in her leg i dont get why ppl doubted her comeback tho... she's been grinding & pushing herself 2 be the best and now she's got a fight on her hands @ mikaela shiffrin - who's gonna come out on top?

btw, imagine this: lindsey vonn vs mikaela shiffrin in the final race... it's a clash of the titans! we need more women's downhill racing w/ these powerhouses competing 4 the gold

I'm still getting used to how fast those girls are flying down the slopes! I remember when Shaun White was dominating the X Games and everyone thought he was invincible, but Lindsey Vonn is doing similar things in skiing right now at 41 years young. It's like she's defying Father Time or something! She was so close to winning that downhill race, but that wobble off a jump cost her, I guess it's just one of those things that happens, you know?

I love how she's not giving up and is still pushing herself despite being hurt and having titanium implants in her leg. That's the kind of spirit that'll take her all the way to the Olympics! And now she's got a tough match against Mikaela Shiffrin on Sunday - two of the best skiers facing off... should be epic!

I'm also loving how young Emma Aicher is, just 22 and already a World Cup winner. It'll be interesting to see if she can keep up with Vonn's resurgence... but I think Lindsey might have something to say about that!

I'm so over this whole "Lindsey Vonn is defying age expectations" thing ... like, yeah, she's 41 and still skiing, but that's not exactly a shocker. It's just the reality of her sport and training regimen. And don't get me wrong, she's still an incredible athlete, but I think we're building her up too much as this "old lady" who's still crushing it .

And can we talk about how easy it is for her to make mistakes like that one wobble off the jump? It's not like she's 20 anymore and full of reckless energy . And yeah, she did say she was a little out of balance today, but I think she's just getting too much hype from everyone surrounding her.

I mean, don't get me wrong, it's still awesome to see her competing at this level again, but let's not forget that there are plenty of other talented skiers out there who are killing the game right now . Like Emma Aicher for instance, she's only 22 and already winning World Cups left and right .
