Luigi Mangione will not face the death penalty after judge nixes two federal counts

🤔 just don't get it why they're all praising this guy Mangione... he took a life and now he's getting a reprieve? 🙅‍♂️ like what even is that? the family of Brian Thompson deserves justice, not sympathy for some radical dude who was trying to make a point about the healthcare system. but I guess when you've got a federal judge on your side, anything can happen, right? 😬

This whole thing is just soooo interesting 🤔... I mean, you gotta wonder what motivated Mangione to take out that guy, right? And now, with the death penalty off the table, it's like he's getting a reprieve from the system. I'm not saying he's innocent or anything, but this ruling feels kinda like a victory for his rights. What if we're talking about systemic issues here? Like, what if Mangione was just fighting against an uncaring system that's all about profits over people? 🤑 That's what I want to know...

I don't usually comment but I'm kinda surprised about this whole thing... I mean, I know some people view Mangione as a folk hero, but for me it's still hard to see him as anything other than someone who pulled the trigger on a person's life... 🤔 It's weird how that one piece of evidence, the backpack with ghost gun and fake IDs, can suddenly make all the difference in his trial. And what's up with this whole death penalty thing? Like, it's always been a bit murky to me how that actually works... anyway, I guess you could say the judge's decision was a win for Mangione's team... but for some people like Brian Thompson's family, it's gonna be hard to find closure 🤕
