omg i'm so sad to hear this... the idea of "bachelorette-meets-femme-jigsaw" sounds like so much fun, but it's just not executed well i loved how they tried to blend different genres, but yeah that disjointed feeling is no good what bugged me most was how cheap the production looked... those cable ties tho seriously though, it feels like they just phoned it in and didn't put enough effort into making it believable would've loved to see some of those potential moments fleshed out more
I just watched this low-budget horror movie "Lure" and gotta say, it was such a letdown The idea of a Bachelorette-meets-femme-Jigsaw game show is super creepy and had me hooked at first But the execution was whack The special effects were cheap and the tension just wasn't there for me. I mean, I felt like I was watching a student film from a horror class instead of an actual movie And don't even get me started on the plot twists โ they were so predictable It's like the writers thought they could just slap together some random scary stuff and call it a day Needless to say, I wouldn't watch this again unless you're a die-hard horror fan
I'm really underwhelmed by this movie . I think the real problem here is that the filmmakers just didn't do their due diligence on setting up the right expectations for the audience. It's like they wanted to be seen as edgy and experimental, but in reality, it just comes across as lazy . The whole thing feels like a cynical attempt to cash in on the horror genre without putting in any real effort. And you know what? That's kinda like how some politicians operate โ promising the world but delivering nothing but hot air .
lol what's up with these low-budget flicks thinkin they can just throw together some creepy setting & call it a day i mean don't get me wrong "Lure" had potential but the execution was straight trash like they couldn't even be bothered to invest in decent props or special effects and don't even get me started on how unrealistic everything felt i mean come on 6 dudes vs a killer lady? more like 6 dudes getting killed by basic math
I dont think the film needed that much thrills & suspense... maybe focus more on atmosphere & storytelling . low budget horror can be effective if done right... just gotta believe in the premise .
idk how this movie got greenlit lol i mean, the concept sounds cool n all but its just so... lazy? like they took bits from other horror movies & just mashed them together w/o putting in the effort 2 make it feel real 4real. i watched it & was literally checking my phone 4 fun vids 2 watch 4gets b/c i didnt wanna waste time on this trainwreck
