A 37-year-old man's life was brutally cut short in a violent attack at a Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Blue Line station early Saturday morning. The victim, identified only by his age and location of the incident, was found stabbed multiple times at the Clark and Lake station on West Lake Street.
According to authorities, the fatal stabbing occurred around 2:30 a.m., when the victim was alone at the station. Police have stated that he suffered severe injuries to the chest and abdomen before being rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he unfortunately succumbed to his wounds.
Unfortunately for investigators, no arrests have been made in connection with the murder. The identity of the 37-year-old man remains unknown until official release from authorities.

what's going on in chicago tho? first it was that cop shooting and now a stabbing on the cta 
you'd think they'd have better security at those places like, 24/7 or something 
it's just not right when someone gets hurt or killed like that and no one is held accountable 
idk what to say but sending vibes to the victims family and loved ones 
hopefully they catch whoever did this soon 
you know what's even crazier? I was at that CTA Blue Line station last month and saw a guy playing a super epic guitar solo on his phone 
he was literally rocking out to some metal music while waiting for his train 
This is just so senseless... a life cut short over a violent crime like this is just devastating. I'm trying to wrap my head around how something like this can happen in broad daylight at an actual train station with security cameras, yet there are no arrests? 
The fact that the victim was alone and suffered multiple stab wounds makes it even more disturbing.
. we gotta look out for each other and try to prevent these types of incidents from happening in the future

stabbing can be such a cowardly act u would think someone wud do that 2 some1 alone in a public place but i guess thats not how its played out in this case

(Not). Seriously though, Chicago has seen its fair share of brutal attacks in recent years and it's like, can't we all just get along for one day without someone getting killed? 
The fact that the killer is still at large is just frustrating - hopefully, someone comes forward with info to help solve this case. R.I.P. to the young guy, he was only 37 and had his whole life ahead of him.

and to think that the killer got away with it, leaving this poor guy's family with so much pain and grief 
it's like, what even is the point of having a safe public transportation system if someone can just take advantage of the situation like that?
