Harris County Sheriff's Office Launches Manhunt for Escaped Suspect After He Fled Custody from Ben Taub Hospital.

A fugitive is currently at large after he escaped from a hospital in Harris County on Friday, according to the local authorities. Carlos Molina Hernandez, 27 years old, broke free from his restraints while under police custody at around 4:46 p.m., just hours after being transported to the hospital for an aggravated assault case. He was previously taken into custody by law enforcement following a call about an altercation in the 9800 block of Berry Orchard Lane.

As authorities scramble to locate Hernandez, residents are urged to be vigilant and report any information that could aid in his capture. If you see him or have any details regarding his whereabouts, please contact emergency services at 9-1-1 or Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477) immediately.
