So I'm thinking, a 20k sq meter super-embassy is a big deal and MI5 seems pretty chill about it... like, they've got over a century of experience handling espionage risks and all that . But at the same time, isn't it reasonable to think that a massive embassy could be a hub for surveillance? I mean, embassies are already kinda like "spying oases" in the middle of cities... . And what's to stop some bad apples from using this super-embassy as an opportunity to snoop around? It's all pretty murky .
omg this is so sus... i mean, china's already got a big presence here and they're just gonna build another super-embassy? i get that it's supposed to be secure but what if someone gets in? or what if it's actually a honeypot for spies lol. and 20k sq meters is huge! it's not like they can't afford it, but still... this whole thing feels kinda fishy
