Most residents don’t know Chicago is moving to an elected school board, poll finds

omg this is crazy! how can 2/3 of ppl not even know about the school board change?! it's like they're stuck in a time warp lol idk what's worse though - that some parents are clueless too or that the city needs to do more bilingual outreach... i mean, it's not fair to latino kids if their info isn't being shared effectively 🤯 anyway, i gotta agree with prof Dominguez about partnering with orgs that work w/ immigrant communities & using spanish TV stations it's time for a targeted effort 📺💬

🤔 so like this is really concerning that most people in chicago dont even know about the change to an elected school board its 2027 already!!! 📆 and thats not just any ordinary person but also parents and younger adults who are supposed to be more tech savvy 📱 but like the experts say we need targeted campaigns on social media and bilingual efforts 🗣️ because latino kids make up a huge part of chicago public schools, its only right that we inform them about this change ASAP 💬
