Mumford & Sons Unveils Stacked Tracklist and All-Star Collaborations for New Album "Prizefighter"
British folk-rockers Mumford & Sons have announced their highly anticipated sixth studio album, "Prizefighter", set to arrive on February 13, 2026. The band has enlisted a veritable A-list of collaborators, including singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams, blues icon Chris Stapleton, and Irish singer Hozier.
The album marks a creative partnership with Aaron Dessner, a member of The National who worked with the band on its critically-acclaimed 2015 LP "Wilder Mind". This time around, Dessner took on the roles of coproducer and cowriter, working closely with Mumford & Sons' members Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, and Ted Dwane at Long Pond Studio in upstate New York.
Lead single "Rubber Band Man", featuring Hozier, has already made a significant impact, while the album's stacked tracklist promises to deliver on its promise of something special. Other notable collaborations include appearances by Abrams on "Badlands" and Chris Stapleton on the title track "Here".
In a statement, frontman Marcus Mumford expressed his excitement about the new album, stating that he believes the band is "hitting our prime as a creative force". With "Prizefighter", Mumford & Sons aim to harness their experience and chemistry to deliver an album that is both playful and serious.
Following the announcement, the band will embark on a 22-date UK and European fall tour, kicking off in Stockholm's Avicii Arena on November 6. The tour will conclude with two nights at London's iconic O2 Arena on December 10-11.
With "Prizefighter", Mumford & Sons promise to deliver an album that is both deeply personal and universally relatable. Fans can look forward to a new era of creative collaboration and musical exploration from one of the world's most beloved folk-rock bands.
