Despite launching in January of this year, the OnePlus 13 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is no longer the latest flagship phone from the company. That'd be the OnePlus 15. But the latest and greatest isn't on sale, and the OnePlus 13 is still a very good smartphone with good battery life, extremely fast charging, and a decent camera system tuned by Hasselblad (this partnership is effectively over in the OnePlus 15).

The only way to spend a little less is to look at the Black Friday carrier offers. We typically don't recommend carrier devices because it means you're getting a locked phone, but most people upgrade through their carrier. If you're going to do it, here's what the big three are offering right now.

* Verizon: iPhone 17 Pro Max, Apple Watch, and iPad for free if you get a new line on select unlimited plans.
* T-Mobile: iPhone 17 Pro, iPad (A16), and Apple Watch SE3 for free if you trade in an eligible phone in any condition on an Experience Beyond plan.
* AT&T: iPhone Air for less than $3 per month if you get a new line. This offer is available online only and runs out on December 1. It requires a 36-month plan and “well-qualified customers."

I think it's crazy that people are already upgrading to the latest flagships, like the OnePlus 15 🤑! The OnePlus 13 was still doing great, you know? But I guess when you get something new, you can't go back 😊. On a different note, Black Friday deals are always interesting...

ugh i dont get why ppl need 2 spend so much on phones lol its like, its just a device u use every day right? OnePlus 13 still sounds like a solid option tho battery life is key for me gotta be able to stream b4 the night is over 😴 what about ppl who trade in old phones do they really get any value outta it? also why do carriers have to make deals so complicated 🤯
 
📱 so the oneplus 13 is still worth getting cuz its not the latest flagship but still has good battery life, fast charging, and decent camera... i mean if you want a deal tho 🤑 carrier freebies are pretty tempting especially if u get a new line with your family or friends 👫. Verizon's got an amazing deal on the iphone 17 pro max but u gotta get a new line which might not be that bad if u need to upgrade soon 📈. and then theres tmobile's offer on the iphone 17 pro and ipads, thats pretty sweet too 💸

I'm tellin' ya, back in my day we didn't have all these Black Friday deals 🤯. We just bought the phone we wanted and were done with it 😂. And now they're offering free phones and accessories to get people to switch carriers? so like the OnePlus 13 is still a solid choice if you can't afford the new one yet lol 🤷‍♂️ it's got good battery life and fast charging which is pretty important for daily use. i think some people might be worried about the camera system being less exciting with the Hasselblad partnership ending but honestly, the decent camera system they have is still pretty great 😊
