Just read about Neil Young canceling his 2026 tour and I'm kinda surprised, ya know? I mean, he's been making waves lately with his music and politics, so you'd think he'd want to keep the momentum going. But at the same time, I get it - global uncertainty can be a lot to deal with, especially for someone who's been in the spotlight for as long as him.I'm also thinking about that whole thing with Greenland and how Neil offered his music to the residents there... that was some bold stuff
. But at the end of the day, it seems like he just feels like this isn't the time to be touring. Fair enough, I guess? Touring can be a real grind, and if he's feeling burnt out or whatever, maybe taking a break is for the best.It's always tough when your fans are left wondering what's going on - but Neil's been doing music for ages, so he knows how to handle himself. like you just cancelled a huge tour like this and now you're gonna sit at home and be all "this is not the time"?? i get it you wanna take a break but dude you're one of the most influential voices in music right now - can't you use your platform to talk about what's really going on instead of just giving a vague excuse? 
... i mean, can't we just have a break from touring for once? like, 5 years or something? and seriously, who else can pull off giving away free music to an entire island nation as a form of activism? 
it's like he's trying to one-up everyone else with his "peace and love" vibes... and btw, why did it have to be so public? couldn't he just keep it on the down low for once? 
i feel so bad for neil young's fans... they've been looking forward to this tour for ages and now it's all just cancelled
