. I mean, yeah, he was being immature and unprofessional, but come on, that's not exactly the end of the world... or so it should be 
. The NHL is kinda harshing his mellow with this fine 
. And what's the deal with having to miss another game due to a groin injury? 
It seems like Nylander's got some bad luck going on 
. I guess you can't blame the Leafs for struggling without him, though... those losses are gonna add up

. i mean, it was just a stupid gesture, not like he hurt anyone or threw a punch. 
! I mean, what's the point of doing something like that in front of all those people? It was just a stupid gesture and now he's getting fined $5,000 and sitting out six games 
. I feel bad for the Leafs since they're having a tough time without him, but I guess you can't let players get away with disrespecting others on live TV 
. The coach is right though, owning up to your mistake is important 
... maybe Nylander should've just kept his mouth (and hands 
) shut!
. I mean, come on William, you're a pro athlete, set an example! Flipping the finger at a camera op? That's just not cool 
. Berube's right though, players gotta own up to their mistakes, but I think the league could've been more lenient 
. It's just one of those moments where you wonder what went through his head 
. Still, he's young and got this, hopefully learns from it

. And to be fair, players do make mistakes like that all the time - it's how they learn from them that matters.
. But I guess that's just part of playing in the NHL - you've got to take some hits (literally or figuratively) when you're trying to make it at this level.
. Maybe they can work on teaching him some anger management techniques in the meantime... just saying
