Ninajirachi Vows to Dominate Touring Schedule After Record-Breaking Awards Season.
A few months after a whirlwind awards season, Australian EDM producer, singer and songwriter Ninajirachi (real name Nina Wilson) has emerged refreshed and primed for the next leg of her meteoric rise.
Her latest outing on the first episode of Odyssey TV this week found Ninajirachi sounding rejuvenated and determined, having just chalked up a string of triumphs – including multiple ARIA Awards, J Awards, the Australian Music Prize and the NSW Music Prize for breakthrough artist, all spawned from her debut album I Love My Computer. And just last week, she won second prize in the 2025 Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition for "iPod Touch."
Ninajirachi revealed that she took some time to recharge after New Year, taking a moment to reflect on everything she'd been through over the summer and fall of 2024. In doing so, she found herself feeling positively awestruck at her rapid progress.
"I feel awesome," Ninajirachi said in an interview with Odyssey TV host Roxy Lola. "I've had a lot of practice, and I'm ready to play a million more shows." The rising Aussie star is currently set for a weeks-long run of dates across the United States, followed by appearances in Asia, Europe, and at iconic festivals including Coachella – marking her first-ever appearance.
Ninajirachi discussed with Roxy Lola not only her most recent musical triumphs but also shared insights into her songwriting process, revealing that one of her proudest achievements was penning "F—My Computer," a song born in just 20 minutes. She also opened up about her love for video games, particularly Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, and overcoming past doubts regarding her singing voice.
"I've always loved playing music with my friends," Ninajirachi explained to Roxy Lola, "and this journey has been the most exciting thing I’ve ever done – honestly."
