A deadly collision on the Eisenhower Expressway in Oak Park has left one person dead and another seriously injured after two cars crashed into each other at around 3 a.m. Sunday morning.
According to Illinois State Police, a Jeep and a Saturn were involved in the wreck, which occurred on I-290 westbound near Home Avenue. Unfortunately, the victim who was ejected from one of the vehicles succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while the second person suffered severe enough injuries to be rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
