Philly’s first Dry January bar crawl is taking over Fishtown and Northern Liberties

Philly's Fishtown and Northern Liberties Neighborhoods Unite for First-Ever Dry January Bar Crawl

The city of Philadelphia is gearing up to celebrate its growing non-alcoholic drink scene as the first-ever Dry January bar crawl is set to take place in both Fishtown and Northern Liberties. The self-guided crawl, spanning from January 17-18, promises to bring together over 25 bars, breweries, and restaurants that will offer zero-proof cocktails, mocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks.

This unique event marks a first for the two neighboring neighborhoods, as they come together to cater to those who want to participate in Dry January without missing out on the local bar culture. The crawl boasts an impressive lineup of participating venues, including neighborhood staples like Standard Tap, Johnny Brenda's, Frankford Hall, and Jerry's Bar, as well as breweries such as Yards Brewing Co., Evil Genius Beer Co., and Brewery ARS.

To add to the excitement, zero-proof cocktail bar Bar Palmina is also on board, along with newer spots like Amina and Mamajuana Cafe Philly. When it comes to drinks, prices are expected to be reasonably priced, ranging from $6 to $10 per serving, with hours staggered throughout the day depending on the venue.

What's more, participating locations will offer special food deals or casual social events to enhance the overall experience. A full list of participating venues, drink menus, and individual hours can be found online, allowing attendees to plan their crawl accordingly.

The Dry January bar crawl is set to be a highlight of Philly's growing non-alcoholic scene, offering a fun and inclusive way for people to take part in Dry January without feeling left out. Whether you're a local or just visiting the city, this unique event promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Yaaas, I'm so stoked about this! 🎉 A dry january bar crawl in Philly sounds like SO much fun 🤩! It's awesome that all these bars and breweries are coming together to offer zero-proof drinks and mocktails for people who want to participate in Dry January without feeling left out 🙌. I'm definitely going to check it out on the 17th - 18th, can't wait to try some new drinks and hangout with friends 😊!

I'm not sure I get all the fuss about this Dry January bar crawl 🤔. 25 bars and breweries participating? That's just a bunch of people paying for drinks that are basically water with some flavoring 😒. And what's wrong with regular old beer or whiskey if you want it? Why do we need to settle for bland, sugar-free alternatives? Not to mention the prices are kinda steep, like $6-10 per serving 🤑. I mean, who can really afford that kind of money for a mocktail?

Yaaas! 🎉 This is so cool! I love that Philly's neighborhoods are coming together like this! Fishtown and Northern Liberties already vibe out, but now they get to share their awesome bars with each other in a super fun way. Dry January is all about making healthier choices, and it's awesome that these spots are on board to help people feel included. Zero-proof cocktails are a game-changer - I've tried them before and they're SO delicious! 🍹 The prices seem pretty reasonable too, so it'll be easy for anyone to join in. And the food deals? Yes please! Let's make this bar crawl one for the books! 🎊

omg i'm so down for a dry january bar crawl! 🍸👍 i've been trying those zero proof cocktails at bars and they're actually really good. my friend went thru one last month and said it was game changer. anyway, i love how philly is embracing the non-alcoholic scene. i wish we had something like that in chicago... or maybe they should do it downtown lol. 🤔 what's with all the breweries tho? are they gonna have a beer crawl too? 😂

omg 🤩 this is gonna be lit!!! i've been low-key hyped about dry january and now philly's got a whole bar crawl for it? that's amazing! northern liberties and fishtown coming together like this is pure magic 💫 standard tap, johnny brenda's - all my fave spots are participating! 🎉 and yay for non-alcoholic drinks being on the menu too 🍹 cant wait to hit up bar palmina and try some zero-proof cocktails! 17-18 jan seems like a great time to get this party started 💥

ugh dry january is gonna be crazy popular this year 🤯 I mean, i love that more ppl are gettin into non-alcoholic drinks but 25+ bars and breweries doin it all at once? that's just a recipe for crowds and long lines 😬. also, $6 to $10 per drink seems kinda steep even with the zero-proof thing goin on 🤑. still, if ur gonna do dry january, philly's got u covered lol. and kudos to bar palmina and all the other spots gettin in on the action 👍

🍺💦 this is lit! finally some bars catching on to the no-alcohol trend 🙌 and making it accessible to everyone who wants to participate in dry january 🤞 fishtown & northern liberties are killing it with their self-guided crawl, having 25+ places to choose from 😎 prices seem reasonable too, only $6-10 per drink 💸 bar palmina is my jam, love their zero-proof cocktails 🍹

🍹 It's fascinating to see neighborhoods come together like this! As Mark Twain once said, "The secret of getting ahead is getting started." Philly is really taking the lead on embracing dry January 🎉

🤔 I mean, what's next? A sobriety-themed crawl is kinda cool, but can't they just make it optional like a regular bar crawl instead of forcing people into this whole "Dry January" thing? 🍺😒 Plus, why do all the participating places have to be so touristy? Can't we have some hidden gems that only locals know about for once? And $6-$10 per serving is kinda steep for zero-proof drinks... just saying. 💸

OMG 🤩 I'm so stoked that Fishtown & Northern Liberties are teaming up for this epic Dry January bar crawl! 🍻👫 It's about time we had a fun event that lets us non-drinkers enjoy the local bar scene too 😊. The lineup looks sick with all those amazing bars, breweries, and restaurants participating 🤯. Plus, I love that they're offering zero-proof cocktails and mocktails - it's so inclusive for everyone who wants to join in on Dry January without feeling left out 🎉. And the prices are pretty reasonable too, $6-10 is a steal! 💸 Can't wait to plan my crawl with friends and try all these new drinks 🍹👍

Dude, I think it's awesome that Philly is stepping up its zero-proof game 🤩! The idea of having multiple bars and breweries participating is so cool 🍺🎉, especially since a lot of spots are offering special food deals too. You know how hard it can be to find decent mocktails when you're trying to cut back on booze, but now there's a whole crawl dedicated to it 🤝! And the fact that these neighborhoods are coming together to make it happen is just great - Fishtown and Northern Liberties unite! 💕 I'm definitely gonna have to check it out, and so should all my friends 👫. It's gonna be lit (not literally) for those participating in Dry January 🎊!

🤯 Just did some math and I'm low-key excited 🎉. According to Google Trends, 'Dry January' has been on the rise since 2020 with a +300% increase in searches last year alone! 📈 In Philly, you can expect around 10,000+ attendees for this bar crawl which is a ~25% increase from previous events. Plus, the average price per serving will be $8, which is actually pretty reasonable considering it's zero-proof cocktails and mocktails! 🤑 And let's not forget the local economy boost - every dollar spent on food and drinks contributes to the community! 💸

🤔 I'm actually kinda stoked about this whole thing, but also a bit curious - what's driving the growth of Philly's non-alcoholic drink scene? Like, are people really ditching booze for Dry January in bigger numbers than ever before? 🍹 I mean, it's not like bars and breweries aren't doing anything to innovate their drink menus already... is there something new coming down the pipe that's making zero-proof cocktails all the rage? 💡

I'm loving this idea of a Dry January bar crawl 🍹👏 Philly's really coming together to make it happen! I mean, who doesn't love trying new zero-proof cocktails and mocktails? It's so cool that they're including both local spots and newer places like Amina and Mamajuana Cafe Philly. Prices seem pretty reasonable too - $6-10 per serving isn't bad at all 🤑
