A tragic single-vehicle crash in Elk Grove Village claimed the life of 51-year-old Paul Klein, a Schaumburg resident, who lost his battle with life just hours after the devastating accident. The incident occurred at approximately 11:52 am on Tuesday, when Klein's vehicle, a 2008 silver Pontiac Vibe, veered off course and into the westbound lanes of Biesterfield Road.
Eyewitnesses report that before the crash, Klein appeared to be unconscious behind the wheel, leaving authorities with unanswered questions about the circumstances surrounding his death. The driverless vehicle then collided with a fire hydrant on the north parkway, sparking an immediate response from Elk Grove Village police and fire department personnel.
When responders arrived at the scene, they found Klein unresponsive in his vehicle and transported him to Ascension Alexian Brothers Medical Center for treatment. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, Klein was pronounced dead just hours later, at 12:26 pm, adding a devastating twist to an already chaotic situation.

I'm still trying to process what happened to Paul Klein 
. A driverless car, which should be designed to keep us safe, ended up killing him 
. It's like, how did this even happen? 
Was it mechanical failure? Human error? Or something else entirely? 
I know we all want to get to our destinations quickly and safely, but we need to make sure these cars are more reliable than that

This whole thing just doesn't add up... The fact that the guy was driving with no one else around and then loses control like that is super suspicious. I mean, if he was unconscious before, how did he even start driving in the first place? And what's with the fire hydrant on the north parkway being hit by the car? That just seems so... convenient
