I'm literally torn about this whole thing 
. On one hand, I think it's totally outta line for the US to just waltz in and start messing with Venezuela like that 
. Like, we've got our own problems to deal with here and Trump's gotta go poking his nose into other people's business? No thanks, fam

But at the same time...I kinda get why some folks are mad about this
. If we're gonna sit back and do nothing while Maduro is being all sorts of shady, aren't we just enabling him? 
I mean, what if Trump's move is actually a good thing and helps bring some sort of peace to the region? 
Like, we can't control everything from afar, right?
And then there's the whole immigration thing
. I'm all for being woke about social justice issues, but come on...letting people who are already struggling to make ends meet into our country? That just doesn't sit right with me

the fact that people are actually protesting against this shows me how divided America is right now. And what's next? Are we gonna invade Iran too? 
This is exactly what I'm talking about when I say we're living in a world where our leaders have no idea what they're doing 
... but sometimes we need to listen to each other too 
... trump's move in venezuela might be seen as bold, but what about the ppl who've been affected by his policies? it's time to think about the human cost of our actions 
... and btw, how can we call ourselves a 'democracy' when we're more likely to see someone like maduro get tossed around like a pawn in a game 
... maybe instead of trying to control venezuela, we should be working on building bridges between nations? 
. I don't get why ppl r just gonna sit back & let the gov try 2 take over another country without even asking first? it feels like they're just doing it 4 their own gain 
. and what's up with Maduro being charged w/ drug trafficking? that doesn't seem right at all 
. we need to be careful here, coz this kind of thing can lead to a lot of chaos & unrest
