omg can you even imagine sending 150k whistles to cities affected by ICE ops?! 🤯 it's like, totally genius! 🤓 i'm all about this Whistlemania thing, the idea of people being proactive and using silbatos as a form of resistance is so cool! 🎉 i mean, why let them come at you when you can blow a whistle in their face? 😂 seriously though, it's amazing to see ppl taking matters into their own hands and using tech to fight back. 3D printing silbatos sounds like an awesome way to do it too! 💻 dan sinker is a total hero 🙌

Ugh I'm literally shaking just thinking about those people being deported I feel so bad for them 🤕💔. I mean what's going on with the government is just not right they're basically breaking human rights or something...I don't know how much more of this I can take 😩. But at the same time, I love that these people in Chicago are taking matters into their own hands by sending out those whistles it's like they're saying "we're not gonna sit back and watch this happen" 🗣️. And OMG 150,000 whistles is insane 💥 I need to get myself some of those ASAP because honestly, who wouldn't want a whistle that could potentially save someone's life? 😂

🗣️ I'm thinking that this whole Whistlemania thing is kinda genius! I mean, who wouldn't want to be able to alert people when ICE agents show up? It's like they're saying, "Hey, we've got your backs!" And the fact that it's a grassroots movement, with people making their own silbatos at home... that's just amazing. I can see why Emily and Lauren are so optimistic about it too - if it keeps those agents from causing more harm, then I'm all for it. Plus, can you imagine how cool it'll be to have a whole bunch of people shouting "Silba!" in unison when the agents arrive? It's like a bit of rebellion against the system, without actually being rebellious 😂.

I'm so concerned about this situation 🤕, it's like we're living in a movie where people are being chased by authorities just because of their immigration status 😱. I mean, what even is the point of sending 150,000 whistles to other cities? It's not gonna stop the agents from doing their job, right? 🙄

But I gotta give credit to these organizers, Emily Hilleren and Lauren Vega, they're actually trying to do something about it 💖. Creating and distributing all those whistles is a huge effort, especially considering that some of them are even making their own 3D printed ones 🎨.

The idea might not be perfect, but it's a start 🌱. It shows that people care about each other and want to support one another in times of need 💕. And who knows, maybe it'll spark some conversation about the real issues here 👊.

I just wish we could focus on finding solutions rather than just throwing stuff at the problem 🤔. Like, what can we actually do to prevent these situations from happening? How can we help people navigate the system without being treated like criminals? 💭

We need to keep talking about this stuff and come up with some real answers 🔥.

🤔 This whole Whistlemania thing is actually kinda genius 💡. I mean, who wouldn't want to defend their city against those agents of the ICE? It's like, we're already feeling the effects of their raids and deportations, and now we've got a way to push back and show them that we won't be silenced 🗣️. And let's be real, it's not just about the silbatos themselves - it's about the community coming together and taking action. I love how Emily Hilleren and Lauren Vega are leading this charge, using 3D printing to mass-produce those whistles and getting them out to all these cities 🎨.

But what really gets me is that this isn't just some one-off thing - it's a movement 🌟. We're seeing people in Evanston, Illinois, making their own silbatos too, which shows that the spirit of Whistlemania is spreading far and wide 🤝. It's like we're saying, "Hey, ICE, you think you can just come and go as you please? Well, think again!" 💪

I feel for these people in Chicago who are taking matters into their own hands 🤝. I mean, 150k whistles is a lot! It's kinda crazy that they're making them themselves with 3D printers 🖥️. And the fact that they're sending them to cities all over the country is wild. I guess you could say it's a big middle finger to the immigration system 👊.

But, at the same time, can't we just have more communication between the government and the people? It feels like they're being left in the dark here. Like, what even is the protocol for these "operativos migratorios"? 🤔 And why are they not taking care of this themselves? It's not like it's a surprise that there are immigrants coming to the US looking for a better life.

Anyway, I think it's cool that people are finding creative ways to deal with this situation. Whistlemania is definitely making some noise 💥.

😱 150,000 silbatos!

just saw this thread and i gotta say, its crazy that people are getting creative with whistles to counter the immigration ops 😂. like, i get it, the system is messed up and we need to take matters into our own hands. but sending 150k whistles to cities affected? thats a lotta effort 🤯. i wonder if they're gonna make some noise (pun intended) when the agents show up... fingers crossed for those people in chicago ❤️.

🤔 I think it's kinda cool that the people of Pilsen are taking matters into their own hands and sending out those whistles to warn others about the ICE agents. 🗣️ It's not right that they have to do this on their own, but at least someone is stepping up and speaking out.

I also love that Emily and Lauren came up with a creative solution using 3D printing to make more whistles. It's like a DIY whistle revolution! 💡 And it's awesome to see people from different cities getting involved too, like in Evanston, IL.

The fact that they're able to get so many whistles made in such a short time is impressive - Dan Sinker's comment about producing more whistles than he could buy or find during the fall season definitely says something! 🤝
