Senator investigated over ‘disobey orders’ video, Erika Kirk on her prayer after Charlie’s death

Senator Mark Kelly is under investigation by the Department of War following the circulation of a disturbing video in which he instructs military personnel to disregard unlawful orders. The clip, which has sparked widespread controversy, appears to be a breach of chain of command and could potentially put lives at risk.

As news of the investigation emerged, attention was also focused on Erika Kirk, the wife of Charlie Kirk, who tragically lost her life in an assassination. In a poignant moment of reflection, Erika shared a heartfelt prayer, expressing her grief and bewilderment at the events that have unfolded.

The release of this video has raised serious questions about Senator Kelly's judgment and ability to lead, particularly in times of crisis. The Department of War's decision to launch an inquiry into the matter is a significant development, highlighting the gravity with which they are taking this breach of protocol.

🤔 I'm having some thoughts about this whole thing... it seems like we're living in a world where our leaders' actions have a ripple effect on everything around them. This video by Senator Kelly has exposed a dark side to his leadership style, and now everyone's scrutinizing him. But what really got me thinking is that Erika Kirk's reaction is so raw and honest... it's like she's showing us the other side of grief, you know? It's not just anger or sadness, but also bewilderment and helplessness.

It makes me wonder about our expectations from leaders, though. We want them to be strong and decisive, but what happens when they're faced with situations that challenge their values? Should we expect them to stand firm, even if it means putting lives at risk? 🤷‍♂️

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole thing... 🤔 I mean, Senator Kelly was basically telling military personnel that it's okay to disobey orders if they don't agree with them? Like, what's next? Are we gonna have students questioning our teachers in class if we don't like their lesson plans? 😂 Seriously though, as a student, I think this is super concerning. We're supposed to follow the rules and respect authority in school, so why should it be any different for military personnel? 🤷‍♀️ And what about Erika Kirk's video? It was so sad... I hope her husband Charlie is getting all the support he needs after losing his wife 😔

just when you think politicians can't get any more messed up lol 🤣 senator mark kelly is in hot water and i gotta ask, what was he thinking? like, who puts out a video telling soldiers to disobey orders? it's a huge breach of chain of command and it's only a matter of time before someone gets hurt 💥 also, r.i.p erika kirk she seemed like such a lovely person and her prayer at the end of that video was so beautiful 🙏 the thing is, senator kelly needs to take responsibility for his actions and not just pass the blame around 👎

I don't know what's more shocking - that video of Sen Kelly telling military personnel to ignore unlawful orders or that his own party would be so slow to react 🤯... I mean, can you imagine if some random guy on the internet started giving out orders like that? We'd have a total meltdown. Anyway, my dad was in the army for years and he always emphasized how important it is to follow orders from your superiors, but I guess even they're not immune to doing something crazy when the going gets tough 💁‍♀️... hopefully this investigation will get to the bottom of things and Sen Kelly can explain what was going on.

I'm low-key shocked by this news 🤯💥. As a fan of Senator Kelly, I thought he was the real deal, but now I'm not so sure. The video is super disturbing and it's hard to believe that someone in his position would say something like that #JusticeMatters. I mean, think about all the times we've seen leaders get caught up in politics over protocol...this is a serious breach of trust 🤝. Can't wait to see how this investigation plays out 💪🏽. My heart goes out to Erika Kirk and her family - she's an amazing woman who was taken way too soon #RIPErikaKirk. We'll be watching Senator Kelly's response closely 👀.

Man, it's crazy what we're seeing play out here. I'm no politician expert, but from where I'm sitting, it seems like Senator Kelly might have put his principles ahead of procedure and that's not a good look for someone in power 🤔. But at the same time, I feel bad for Erika and her family - losing your partner to senseless violence is just devastating 💔. The whole thing feels like a reminder that we need to be mindful of our leaders' behavior and hold them accountable for their actions. It's also got me thinking about how mental health can impact decision-making and whether there are ways to support politicians (and others) in managing stress and staying focused under pressure 🧘‍♂️.

This whole thing just feels like a mess 🤯... I mean, on one hand, you've got Senator Kelly being investigated for going against chain of command - that's some serious stuff right there. But at the same time, it's like, what even is the point of investigating him? He's already been called out and faced the backlash. It feels like more of a PR move than anything else 🤷‍♂️

And then there's Erika Kirk... her story just breaks my heart 😔. Losing someone you love to an assassination is already one thing, but to be in the public eye and have that added on top... it's just too much to handle. I hope she gets the support she needs during this really tough time 🤗.

One thing that does worry me though is how this whole thing could affect the Department of War's credibility. If they can't even keep their own personnel in check, what kind of leadership are we looking at?

This whole thing just smells like another scandal waiting to happen 🤔. I mean, what exactly did Senator Kelly do wrong? It sounds like he was trying to uphold some moral code or whatever, but now it's being torn apart by the powers that be. And what's with the timing of this investigation? Did they really have to wait for someone to get assassinated before they decided to take action? It's all just so convenient 🙄. I'm not saying Senator Kelly is definitely guilty, but I am saying that we need to keep a close eye on how this whole thing plays out.

I'm not buying that Senator Kelly's actions were just some kinda mistake... 🤔 He's been makin' waves in DC for years and now suddenly we gotta worry 'bout his judgment? It's like, if you're so concerned about chain of command, maybe take a closer look at the whole system, ya know? The guy's tryin' to stick up for what he thinks is right even when it's unpopular. Can't say I agree with his methods, but I can see where he's comin' from... 🤷‍♂️ Erika Kirk's prayers were super powerful tho, feel bad for the whole Kirk family 😞

I'm really worried about what's going down with Senator Kelly 🤕. I mean, who wants to watch videos of their leaders basically saying "do whatever you want, just don't follow orders"? It's like a recipe for disaster! And on top of that, Erika's story is still so raw and heartbreaking... she didn't deserve to lose her life in an assassination 💔. The fact that people are even questioning Kelly's judgment and leadership skills is pretty telling - I guess you can't just disregard orders and expect everything to be cool 😒. Can we really trust our leaders to make decisions in a crisis?

omg can you even imagine someone in charge like that putting their own morals over national security? 🤯 it's wild to think about how one guy's personal values could put an entire country at risk... i mean i get it, chain of command is important and all that but come on, who needs a video like that out there? 😂 Erika Kirk's prayer was super powerful though, really brought home the impact of this whole thing... hope Kelly gets through this okay 🤞

I'm totally shook by this news 🤯... what if that video had been recorded and shared? I can only imagine how the families would be affected, especially Erika Kirk's, her pain must be unbearable right now 😔. As a parent, it's hard to see our kids in positions of power struggling with making decisions under pressure. Mark Kelly's actions might have seemed like they were coming from a place of duty, but at what cost? 🤝 The fact that the Department of War is investigating this seriously just goes to show that there are consequences for breaking protocol... let's hope he comes out of this with his integrity intact 👍

🤔 It seems like some people have a double standard when it comes to leadership 🙃 - you can be in a position of power and then suddenly expect everyone else to follow your lead 💪 but only if it's on your own terms 😒

This whole thing is just so sad 🤕... thinking about Erika Kirk and her loss is heartbreaking ❤️. It's like, you're trying to process your grief and then there's all these other things going on that make it even harder to cope 💔. And now this video of Senator Kelly comes out and it's like... what are we supposed to do with that? 🤯 It's just so much to take in. Can't help but wonder how he was thinking when he recorded that clip 😕. I'm no expert, but from where I'm standing, it looks pretty serious 💥. Hope the investigation goes well and justice is served 👮‍♂️.

.. what's goin' on here?! 🤯 I'm watchin' all these senators and military folks makin' big decisions without thinkin' about the consequences... like, what if someone's gonna misinterpret this video and end up losin' their life or somethin'? 😱 It just doesn't sit right with me. I remember back in my day, we had leaders who respected the chain of command and didn't go around breakin' protocol willy-nilly... now it seems like things are gettin' more complicated by the minute 🤔. And what's up with this video circulatin'? Who put it out there? 🎥 Shouldn't that be a bigger concern than Senator Kelly's judgment right now? 🤷‍♂️
