Supporters could be allowed to buy alcohol at a Scotland football match as part of an experiment aimed at lifting the long-standing ban on drinking in stadiums. The trial is set to take place during one of Scotland's friendly matches later this year, with plans currently being put in place for either March or June.
Fans would be permitted to purchase drinks in the concourse area but not bring them into their seats. A trial was conducted earlier this season at some Scottish league games.
Yaaas this is a game changer ! I think it's about time Scotland lifts that booze ban from stadiums lol. Just imagine sipping on a pint while watching the national team play - goalzzz!! The fans will be stoked and the vibe in the stadium will get even more electric . Of course, they gotta keep the seats booze-free for safety reasons but allowing drinks in concourse is a perfect compromise. Did you see that trial they did earlier this season? It was a huge success ! Now let's get ready to party at Scotland matches
omg u guys i just heard about this n the scottish football team might b lettin fans buy alcohol @ the stadium wooo ๏ธ Scotland has been super strict about drinking in stadiums 4eva but like maybe its time 2 change lol i remember goin to a game last season and havin a ton of fun but had to leave early cuz i was too drunk so idk if this is a good idea or not but i think it's def worth tryin out especially if its just in the concourse area like that might b easier 2 control who brings in the booze and all that jazz
I'm a bit surprised they're even thinking about lifting that ban on drinking in stadiums . I mean, it's not like it's been in place forever, but still... my grandfather used to love going to football matches and having a pint with his mates while watching the game. It was all part of the experience back then. Nowadays, it seems like they're trying to make everything so safe and family-friendly . I'm not sure if allowing fans to buy drinks in the concourse area is going to make that much of a difference. And what's next? Are they going to start serving beer at school sports days too? Just kidding, but seriously, it'll be interesting to see how this trial goes down and whether it changes anything.
so its about time scotland relaxes its stadium ban lol ... like, who doesn't want a pint while watching the hoops anyway? i think its a cool idea and might even bring in some extra cash for the breweries . but i hope they dont go too crazy with it, like, we dont need more drunk fans stumbling around the concourse . id be curious to see how it all plays out tho, maybe its just what scotland needs to spice up the football experience . one thing is for sure, its gonna be a wild ride if they do decide to bring in booze !
omg this is mental, can u even imagine sipping on a pint while watching scottish football?? idk if its a good idea or not but i think its about time they relaxed the ban lol. its like every other stadium in europe has no problem with drinking in the stands and we're still stuck with this 90s rule. im just glad to see they're trying something new, might as well be part of the 21st century, right? but at the same time, i dont want any fans getting too rowdy or losing focus on the match . think its a great idea if done safely tho, would def be cool to try it out!
omg u guyz i think it's pretty cool that they're considering letting ppl drink at scottish football matches its been a long-standing ban so its nice to see them trying new things like experimenting w/ alcohol sales during a friendly match in march or june i remember watching scottish league games last season and the concourse area was always packed w/ people grabbing drinks before the game it would be lit if they allowed fans 2 bring their own to their seats lol can u imagine the energy? anyway, it'll b interesting 2 see how it goes & if its a hit they might just make it permanent
OMG, can you even imagine sipping a pint while watching Scotland play? I think it's about time they relaxed the rules on drinking in stadiums - it'll definitely spice up the matchday experience! The trial sounds like a great idea and allowing fans to buy drinks in the concourse area is a good compromise. Not wanting them to bring it into their seats makes sense, though. Safety first, right? I'm actually curious to see how this experiment goes down - will it lead to more relaxed vibes or just make things a bit too rowdy? Either way, it's about time we get some drinks in the stands!
