I'm just shaking my head thinking about this poor kid who's fighting for his life. It's so sad that something as simple as riding a bike can turn into such a tragedy. The thing is, it's not like he was doing anything wrong - he was just trying to get from one place to another on his own two wheels.

. I mean, I'm all for cyclists having their rights on the road, but come on! Highway 6 is notorious for being super busy and narrow... it's like they're not even trying to design safe zones for everyone. And now this poor kid has to deal with critical injuries because he was just minding his own business riding his bike

texas is no exception... in 2020, there were over 11k cycling accidents in texas resulting in 268 deaths... 
. It's crazy how something as simple as riding a bike can turn into such a life-threatening situation
